27 Regular Council Meeting 3/21/88 Page 7 Mayor Carmen explained that this is the ordinance we frequently pass. The budget has not beeri completede It should be completed within the next week or so. He said that this is the required ordinance to get the fund,balances and temporary accounts in order. Once we figure out the exact amounts that will go on the accounts we can amend later on. . Roll Call: AYES: Al1 NAYS: None . Motion Carried Ordinance Enacted First Reading -of Ordinance No. 88-10, entitled; "AN ORDINANCE AWARDING A CONTRACT TO PHILLIPS DAY AND MADDOCK, INC. FOR THE PURCHASE OF AN EMERGENCY GENERATOR FOR THE FIRE DEPARTMENT, SUSPENDING THE COMPETITIVE BIDDING REQUIREMENT OF SECTION 123.02 OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OFMAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY." Introduced by Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole. Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Rinker, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions.
