?? <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING O,F COUNCIL <br />Mayfield Village <br /> <br />? <br /> <br />April 18, 1988 <br />The Council of Mayfield Village met in Regular Session on Monday, April 18, <br />1988, at 8:10 p.m. in the Council Chambers at the Village Hall. Council <br />President Santo Basile presided. <br />Roll Call: Present: Mr. Basile, Mrs. Cinco, Mr. Flynn, Mrs. Mills, Mr. <br />Petschauer, Mr. Rinker, and Mr. Santoro <br />Absent : None <br />Also Present Were . Mayor Carmen, Mr. Amendola, Mr. Feneli, <br />Mr. Patrick, Chief Mohr, Chief Stevens, and <br />Miss Heath. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. <br />OPEN PORTION <br />Mr. Floyd Davis, 6703 Seneca Road, said that he had sent a letter in for <br />information on seven different articles. He received a notice that his <br />request had been acknowledged. Mr. Davis said that it has been one month <br />and he has not received anything. He said that Ordinance No. 82-25 states <br />that within a three-day period you must have answers for all your questions. <br />He has not received it. Mr. Davis said he would like to know if he is going <br />to receive one or not. <br />Mayor Carmen said absolutely; that it has been an extremely busy month. <br />Mr. Davis said that he expects an answer and that he will.be here by Friday <br />and there had better be one here. <br />Jeff Schiemann; 994 Woodlane, said that he would like to speak about the <br />Progressive issue when it comes up. <br />Dorothy Buzek, 6248 South Woodlane Drive, said that she would like to <br />address the plantings that were disrupted on the west side portion of the <br />entrance to Worton Park. She said that they were not notified of that and <br />the Homeowner's Association had put out monies on that and she feels that <br />they should be reimbursed for that in some waye <br />Mr. Rinker said that he had spoken to Mr. Hovancsek about this matter. Mr. <br />Hovancsek was going to get together with the contractor to find out about <br />it. The question is whether or not the planting is at risk if it is in the <br />right-of-ways He said that our position is that we would like to have them <br />at some point either allow us to replant if they provide us the wherewithal <br />to do it, or when they are done with the project that they will do the <br />planting. He said'he is waiting for Mr. Hovancsek to get an answer back on <br />it. <br />Mayor Carmen explained that what contractors frequently do when they are done is to either put the areas that they have disturbed back into the <br />original condition that they were in prior to disturbing it, or
