He said <br />he has also talked to Mr. Hovancsek, but we haven't gotten an answer back <br />yet. <br />Mrs. Buzek suggested that they be advised if we are going to disrupt the <br />east side because they have bulbs and shrubs they would like to rescue. <br />Mayor Carmen said that he would ask Mr. Hovancsek and Mr. Amendola to try to <br />give her a better idea of the plan so that she would know where they were <br />going to be when and if it will interfere with the plantings they have done <br />or are going to do. <br />Mrse Buzek said that she also had comments and questions concerning <br />Progressive, <br />Bob Leppla, 961 Worton Park Drive, said that he would like to speak when the <br />Progressive issue comes up. <br />Joe Seraglio, 900 Joyce Road, asked why the traffic light on Miner Road is <br />on caution at all times. He said they can't make a right turn out of there. <br />Mr. Basile said that.from what he understands, a letter must be written to <br />the State to get this light back to working and they are trying to get this <br />done as fast as they can, <br />Chief Stevens stated that the signal is in Highland Heights and they have <br />control of the controller and they are requesting that that be put back on. <br />Mr. Flynn asked if they could resolve this by telephone to expedite this <br />matter instead of sending a letter. <br />Mr. Basile said he believed they had tried that but the State said they had <br />to have a letter. <br />CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES: March 21, 1988 - Mr. Flynn, seconded by Mrs. <br />Mills, made a motion to approve the minutes. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Minutes Approved <br />COMMENTS FROM MAYOR CARMEN <br />Mayor Carmen said that the annual Mother's Day Pancake Breakfast is coming <br />up. He said we would appreciate a good turnout and that they appreciate all <br />the residents who come each year to help us conduct the activity. <br />COMMENTS FROM COUNCIL PRESIDENT BASILE <br />Mr. Basile said he received another letter from Mre Beebe today. He read <br />the letter which was pertaining to the plaque designating Beebe Park. <br />Mayor Carmen explained to the residents in the audience who had not attended <br />last month's Council Meeting what the original letter from Mr. Beebe had <br />said. Mayor Carmen said that he replied to that letter and told Mr. Beebe <br />that as the gazebo went up this year, we intended to mount and install the <br />plaque.
