The one that was signed just says to provide sufficient landscaping <br />to achieve a natural barrier. <br />Mayor Carmen said the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended to Council <br />that this plan be approved. Now C.ouncil has to act upon Planning and <br />Zoning's recommendation. He said he feels they are looking for a <br />technicality by which to say to stall it for a month. <br />Mayor Carmen explained the function of the Planning and Zoning Commission. <br />Discussion was held. <br />A man in the audience asked Mro Bloomfield what his opinion was whether he <br />would allow the enhancement along the 90' buffer. <br />Mro Bloomfield said that Progressive has every intention of fulfilling that <br />agreement. He said they have every intention of coming forward with a <br />landscaping plan when they have plans f or their new development and that he <br />assumes discussion at that time would include that subject. <br />Mayor Carmen cited points from the original agreement and said"' tliat he <br />felt these points were the crux of the original conversations between the <br />homeowner's association and Progressive. <br />Sherry Khoury, -'`Y30 -Worton Park"'Dri.ve' -"said) theJI homes seemed to be " very <br />quickly, conveniently put up f or saleJa few days?before this meeting. She said she lcnows some of-the tenants that <br />live in these homes and at least some of them she believes have one month <br />leases. She said she would like to find out what the hold up is and if the <br />homes are really for sale. <br />Mayor Carmen said all of the homes are listed to be sold. He said that <br />Progressive was extremely tardy in putting the homes up for sale and have <br /> violated the agreement, <br /> Mr. Basile said that this has gone long enough, Council has other important <br /> business to take of. He said that as far as he knows the 90"buffer was <br /> never part of the agreement. Mr. Basile said that he was at the meeting <br /> with Jonathan Lewis when they said they would put up the bu ffer when they <br /> put up the building. There was nothing said about adding to the buffer <br /> beyond the new driveway. .
