70 Regular Council Meeting 6/20/88 -- Page 10 Mr. Petschauer, seconded b.y Mrs. Mills, made a motion to adopt Resolution No. 88-23. Second Reading of Resolution No. 88-25, entitled; "A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE NECESSITY FOR PROVIDING.FOR THE PAYMENT OF STREET LIGHTING AND THE IMPROVEMENT OR INSTALLATION OF ADDITIONAL LIGHTING BY SPECIAL ASSESSMENT OF ALL PARCELS BENEFITTED, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY." Introduced by Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole. (First Reading 5/16/88) Mr. Flynn, seconded by Mr. Petschauer, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring a resolution to be read on three separate occasions. Roll Call: AYES: Al1 NAYS: None Motion Carried Rules Suspended Mr. Petschauer, seconded by Mr. Basile, made a motion to adopt Resolution No. 88-25. _ Roll Call: AYES: _All . NAYS: None. Motion Carried Resolution Adopted NEW BUSINESS Holiday Inn Sign Request - Mr. Amendola said they had asked them to submit the signs they are requesting to put up but that we have not heard from them yet. Forest City Enterprises re D"rainage Nortfi-of--Highland - Mr. Hovancsek said that he explained to Mr. Amendola by letter what he felt should be done regarding deepening and widening of the ditch.. He said that Mr. Amendola can pass the information onto Forest City and request that they move f orward and install the ditch back there. Cleanliness of Community Room - Mr. Basile said that the garbage is not being taken out of the room and that the room is not always cleaned up as it should be. Mayor Carmen explained that we are starting to retain portions of the security deposits for:damage to the room and are trying to see that the room is cleaned up as it should be. Correction to minutes of 11/2/87 and 4/18/88 - Mr. Basile explained that the minutes of 11/2/87 needed to be corrected to include a motion to amend Resolution 87-73, (A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND PRESIDENT OF COUNCIL TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH THE PROGRESSIVE CORPORATION PERTAINING TO THE RELOCATION OF THE PROGRESSIVE CORPORATION DRIVEWAY AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.) He said that because the agreement was amended, the legislation was amended accordingly. He said that a motion should be made to amend the minutes to include a motion to amend the resolution. Mr. Basile said that the minutes of 4/18/88 should be amended to include the roll call vote taken regarding the Progressive Drive. (A motion was made by Mr. Rinker, seconded by Mr. Flynn with a Roll Call vote of all ayes.)
