79 <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING.OF COUNCIL <br />Mayfield Village <br />July 18, 1988 <br />The Council of Mayfield Village met in Regular Session at 8:06 p.m. in the <br />Council Chambers at the Village Hall. Council President Santo Basile <br />presided0 <br />Roll Call: Present: Mr. Basile, Mrs. Cinco, Mr. Flynn, Mrs. Mills, <br />Mr. Rinker, and Mr. Santoro <br />Absent : Mr. Petschauer <br />Also Present Were . Mayor Carmen, Mr, Amendola, Mr. Hovancsek (8:17 p.m.), <br />Mr. Patrick, Fi'refighter Porter, Mr. Ramos,' <br />Chief Stevens, and Miss Heath. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. <br />OPEN PORTION <br />There were nocomments, <br />CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES - Regular Meeting'of Council = June 20, 1988 <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mre Flynn, made a motion to approve the minutes. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All Motion Carried <br />NAYS: None Minutes Approved <br />COMMENTS FROM MAYOR CARMEN <br />Mayor' Carmen said that Village Days has"been delayed until September (as <br />indicated on the signs.) He explained that because the weather has been so <br />dry they were concerned about shooting the f ireworks.' Mayor Carmen said new <br />activities are being planned which may include a clam bake. Village Days <br />will tentatively be held on September 16, 17, and 18. <br />COMMENTS FROM COUNCIL PRESIDENT BASILE <br />Mr. Basile said there is still a trailer in the yard at 600 S.O.M. He asked <br />Mr. Amendola what action was being taken.Mr. Amendola said the Village is going to acquire the trailer for $400e The <br />trailer will be moved as soon as the transaction takes place. <br />DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS <br />Mr. Patrick expressed thanks to Mayor Carmen, members of Council, Department <br />Heads, etc. for the flowers and cards he received.' <br />Mr. Ramos said he will wait until the appropriate time to make a report. <br />STANDING COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />Architectural Review Board - Mr. Amendola said the Board met on July 14. They <br />approved the f ollowing: A new single-family dwelling, an accessory building, <br />2,fen,ces, 2 patio enclosures, 2 additions, and12 decks.
