Planning and Zoning Commission didn't act on them before the <br />second reading that.extra readings may be required. Mr. Ramos said that the <br />legislation will not be able to be placed on the ballot this November, but it <br />might be able to be placed on the ballot for the Primary Election. <br />Mr. Ramos said that he and Chief Mohr have discussed sprinkler legislat ion. <br />He said that Chief Mohr is waiting to receive sample copies of ordinances from <br />other communities. As soon as the legislation is received, they will get <br />together to discuss legislation. Mr. Ramos said that he may have legisla tion <br />for the next meeting. : <br />Mrse Mills asked what Mr. Amendola found out about the air conditioning unit <br />for the 9-1-1 system, <br />Mr. Amendola said that the air conditioning unit would notfit, <br />Mrm Flynn suggested that another vent be run off of the existing system as an <br />alternative. <br />Mrs. Mills asked that Mr. Amendola get prices on that. <br />Mrs. Mills asked how the;installation of the Enhanced 9-1-1 was coming. <br />Chief Stevens said that the electricians will be out tomorrow to start the <br />process. <br />Mr. Ramos asked Chief Stevens to let the Mayor's Office know when the sys tem <br />is in so that the acceptance form can be sent in. <br />Mr. Amendola said that he would like Mr. Ramos to review the f ees for the <br />garage sale ordinance and that Mr. Patrick would like to include a handl ing <br />charge. , <br />Mr. Amendola said that there was an announcement made in the Voice of the <br />Village that we would have replacement split rail fence available for <br />residents. He said he has not purchased the fence yet because the charge to <br />residents has not been set. He asked if the fee could be set this evening. <br />Discussion was held. <br />Mr. Basile said that Mr. Patrick recommends this item be referred to the <br />Finance Committeee <br />Mr. Wolszynek said that he was in contact with the contractor and the Village <br />inspector for the 1988 road reconstruction project. He said that all concrete <br />work was completed on Saturday. All that remains is a little backfilling, the <br />tarring and sealing•of Joyce, and the replacement of sod. <br />Mre Basile said that he received a call from Judge Grogan about a bad section <br />of Oakton and Hickory Hill. He said he viewed the area and found a very bad <br />spot that fills with water at the southwest intersection of Oakton and Hickory <br />Hill. He asked that Mr. Wolszynek look at the area and see if something could <br />be done.
