Mayor <br />Carmen said that he said that he did not feel it was his j'ob to do either of <br />these things and that he felt he was stalling. He said that he is not sure <br />what the resolution of this matter will be. <br />White Road Ditches <br />Mre Hovancsek said that the County has not had an opportunity to get to them <br />this year and that he doubts that they will. He said that the County had done <br />some work on Aighland Road this year. <br />Replacement for Joe Abate - Mayor Carmen said they are looking for a <br />replacement but that one has not been found yete <br />Berms on S.O.M. at Bicycle Path - Mayor Carmen said that we recently received <br />another letter from Steve about what type of materials to use and the cost. <br />Mr. Hovancsek said that he had indicated in his letter to Mayor Carmen and <br />Council that he felt #l and #2 limestone would be the best to use in that <br />area. He said that he also-recommended the use of delineators as a type of <br />visual barrier. ? <br />A short discussion was held about placement of the delineators. <br />Mayor Carmen asked Mr. Hovancsek to have a cost estimate for the delineator <br />work that he is proposing for the next Caucus. He said that a determination <br />could be made after they have all of the facts. <br />Wilson Mills Road Update - Mr, Hovancsek said that he understood that the <br />State was going to grant the 68 day extension requested by the cont•ractor. <br />Mr. Rinker asked what the basis of their granting the extension was. <br />Mr. Hovancsek explained that their basis was that some of the utilities were <br />in their way and that they have had some changes such as the traffic signal at <br />Progressive, etc. He said that the Village has no input; that the contract is <br />between the State and the contractor. He said that the Village and the <br />County are not parties to-the contract. <br />Discussion was held. <br />Mr. Rinker asked if we could try to get a timetable that would indicate what <br />they would be doing-when, <br />Mr. Hovancsek said that he would try. He explained some of the problems that <br />the contractor had experienced which led to the delay. <br />Mayor Carmen said that he thinks Mr. Rickey's suggestion that we try to keep <br />the residents informed of the progress was a good one. He said if we could <br />get something that would tell the residents what they can expect f or the next <br />couple of week s that that would.be helpful.
