He said that he also-recommended the use of delineators as a type of
visual barrier. ?
A short discussion was held about placement of the delineators.
Mayor Carmen asked Mr. Hovancsek to have a cost estimate for the delineator
work that he is proposing for the next Caucus. He said that a determination
could be made after they have all of the facts.
Wilson Mills Road Update - Mr, Hovancsek said that he understood that the
State was going to grant the 68 day extension requested by the cont•ractor.
Mr. Rinker asked what the basis of their granting the extension was.
Mr. Hovancsek explained that their basis was that some of the utilities were
in their way and that they have had some changes such as the traffic signal at
Progressive, etc. He said that the Village has no input; that the contract is
between the State and the contractor. He said that the Village and the
County are not parties to-the contract.
Discussion was held.
Mr. Rinker asked if we could try to get a timetable that would indicate what
they would be doing-when,
Mr. Hovancsek said that he would try. He explained some of the problems that
the contractor had experienced which led to the delay.
Mayor Carmen said that he thinks Mr. Rickey's suggestion that we try to keep
the residents informed of the progress was a good one.
