145' <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF COUNCIL <br />Mayfield Village <br />November 21, 1988 <br />The Council of Mayfield Village met in Regular Session on Monday, November 21, <br />1988, at 8:07 p.m. in the Council Chambers at the Village Hall. Council <br />President Santo Basile presided. The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. <br /> <br />Roll Call: Present: Mr. Basile, Mrs. Cinco, Mr. Flynn, Mrs. Mills, <br />Mr. Petschauer., Mr. Rinker, and Mr. Santoro. <br />Absent: None <br />Also Present Were: Mayor Carmen, Sgt. Jay, Mrs. Martin, Firefighter <br />Neyman, Mr. Patrick, Mr. Ramos, Mr. Hovancsek (8:07), <br />and Miss Heath. <br />CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES: <br />Special Meeting of Council - October 3, 1988 - Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. <br />Flynn, made a motion to approve the minutes. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br /> Minutes Approved <br />e ular Meetin of Council - October 17, 1988 - Mr. Santoro, seconded by Mr. <br />inker, made a motion to approve the minutes. <br />oll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br /> Minutes Approved <br />COMMENTS FROM MAYOR CARMEN <br />Mayor Carmen said that arrangements have been made with Yours Truly <br />Restaurant, which recently opened, to do a benefit breakfast brunch on New <br />Years' Day to benefit the gazebo. They will provide help and do the food at <br />cost. Any monies that are made will be donated to the fund for the gazebo. He <br />said that he would like to have Council and Department people serve as guest <br />waiters. Mayor Carmen said that Yours Truly is trying to get involved in the <br />community. <br />COMMENTS FROM COUNCIL PRESIDENT BASILE <br />Mr. Basile had no comment. <br />DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS: <br />Mrs. Martin reported that the leaf program will be finished tomorrow. She <br />said that the service department crew had gone through the whole Village today <br />and will be doing the same tomorrow. She reported that the company they were <br />checking with to haul the leaves required an initiation fee of $1,500. She <br />has checked other sources but they do not want leaves. Mrs. Martin said that <br />she and Jim felt that they should wait until Gus returns to make a decision.
