49 <br />First Reading of Resolution No. 86-21, entitled; "A RESOLUTION DECLARING CLASSIC <br />CHEVROLET, INC. AS THE LOWEST AND BEST BIDDER FOR THE SALE TO THE MUNICIPALITY <br />OF TWO .(2) CARS FOR THE FIRE CHIEF AND BUILDING COMMISSIONER, AUTHORIZING THE <br />MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH CLASSIC CHEVRLOET, INC. REJECTING ALL OTHER <br />BIDS, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY." Introduced by Mayor Carmen and CounciT as <br />a Whole. ' <br />Mr. Etzler said Resolution 86-21 will be discussed Wedriesday, too. <br />ANY OTHER•MATTER THAT MAY COME BEFORE COUNCIL <br />Mr. Amendola asked if Council would consider the Special Use Permit for Ken's <br />Auto Body.at this meeting. The Planning and Zoning Commission made a recommeridation <br />to Council that the permit be granted, and it expires May lst-w <br />Mr,. Etzler said he does not want to make exception to the rule that everything <br />must be discussed at Caucus before being discussed at a Council Meeting. <br />Mr. Flynn asked Mr. Ameridola what could be done about a tree that has been' <br />down on residential property for over a month. <br />Mr. Amendola said there is no set rule regarding trees down. <br />Mr. Etzler said the tree-should be cleaned up as soon as soon:?:as weather permits. <br />Mayor Carmen said he wbuld discuss this with Mr.-Amendola this Wednesday and see <br />if we could write another letter. - <br />Mr. Petschauer said Mr. Nungesser on Thornapple got together and through the <br />help of Mr. Amendola wi11 be beautifying the corner. He wants to thank <br />Gus for his help.with a resident's swale problem. <br />Mr. Flynn; seconded by-Mr. Petschauer, made a motion to adjourn the meeting. <br />There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 8:38 p.m. <br />
