In addition, the Company intends to increase its <br />smokers who would li_ke to stop smoking. <br />The implementation of the following new corporate smoking policy, <br />effective immediately, is designed as a first step toward more <br />restrictive smoking arran?ements. <br />SMOKING POLICY <br />Wortc Areas <br />Lmployees have the right to clesignate their iinmediate work area as <br />a non-smoking area by posting a"'lllanlc You For Not Smoking" sign <br />provided by ttie Company. These signs are available through Supply <br />Services. The term "immediate work area" will be defined by each <br />Department or Company office, talcing into consideration the <br />existing physical characteristics of the area involved and the type <br />of work space provi_deci to employees in that area. <br />In work areas. where space is shared, management will make every <br />reasonable effort to accommodate individual preferences. This <br />includes changing seating arrangements, where feasible. <br />Employees with private offices may clesignate their offices as <br />smoking or non-smoking areas.
