' <br />Roll.Cal1: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Minutes Approved <br />Mr..Etzler said he would like to amend the agenda to incl.ude the Mayor's Commen.ts. <br />There being no objections, the agenda was amended. <br />MAYOR'S COMMENTS <br />Mayor Carmen stated that he would like to emphasize :that his concern in making <br />the barrier at Mayfield Heights in Worton Park was to alleviate a safety problem <br />to the residents of'Worton Park. Bad reporting, to no fault of the reporter, <br />caused confusion on the issue and as far as the Village.is concerned, the issue <br />is-dead. They will look into another outlet. <br />Mayor Carmen stated that Village Days was a huge success and thanks is given to <br />all who donated their time. A lot of work was accomplished by a small, but <br />dedicated committee. <br />DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS <br />No repcrts given. <br />STANDING GOMMITTEE REPORTS <br />Architectural Review Board - Mr. Amendola stated that drawings were app'roved <br />for four new homes in the Ain.tree North Development. <br />Board of Appeals - No meeting required. <br />Commission on Aging - Mr..Etzler reported that on September 3, 17, and 25 there <br />will be flu shot registrations, a picnic in the park on September 11, and a bus <br />trip to Erie, PA the beginning of September. <br />Finance - Mr. Flynn reported no meeting was held in July. Council.had a Special <br />Meeting on July 14 to pass the.1987 Tax Budget and the Street Lighting Assessment <br />Ordinance. Finance met th,is evening ond are recommending the following: <br />86-37 - General Liability Insurance be passed, Purchase of two police cars, <br />Income from the Village Races go to the Recreation Fund, <br />Other items to be further reviewed at the next Caucus Meeting. <br />Mr. F1ynn questioned Mr. Hovancsek on the availability of state loans for the <br />water main repairs on Wilson Mills. <br />
