110 <br />Mr. Hovancsek said the Ohio Water Department A.uthority has funds they will loan <br />out at the same rate of County Commission Bonds. There is a meeting scheduled <br />this Friday to discuss this. The County will be requesting from the three <br />communi'ties involved as to how the funding will take,place. The contractor <br />who is awarded the road contract will do the sewer work also. Consfiruction <br />will start at the east end of the project which is 91 - the timing is controlled <br />by the Highway Department. The cost is 4.6 Million Dollars for the paving and <br />1.2 Million for the Water Main. <br />Mr. Flynn requested Steve keep Council informed of the prog•ress. <br />Mr. Flynn stated the Finance Committee recommended that two additiona 1 banks be <br />used for interim deposits. <br />Hillcrest Council of Councils - No Report. <br />M.A.R.C. - Mr. Etzler stated a meeting was held on August 7. The Board approved <br />sending gym participants to Glory Gymnastics Company releasing M.A.R.C. from <br />insurance responsibility and liability. They are working on fall programs. <br />Planning and Zoning - Mr. Basile stated there was no meeting. <br />Recreation - Mr. Petschauer reported that the softball season was a great success. <br />Mx'. Ross, the coordinator,worked very hard and did a fine job. The All-Star Game <br />was held during Village.Days and the awards will be given out at the banquet.which <br />will be held tomorrow evening. The softball raffle helped defray the costs of <br />the banquet. The One-Mile Race included participants from age 3 to adult. The <br />Five Mile Race was a huge success - one of the best races thus far. <br />Safety and Service - Mr. Basile said a meeting was held on July 21, the biggest <br />topic discussed was water drainage problems. Also discussed getting entry into <br />property to extend the sewer line on Hickory Hill and the rear yar.d drainage on <br />the S.O.M. properties. They asked the Mayor to sent letter requesting permission <br />to enter. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />Hickory Hill Sanitary Sewer - covered urider Safety/Service. report. <br />Hanus.Property Drainage - Mr. Hovancsek reported that a_meeting was held with <br />the Maycr, Law Director, Gus, and himself. The Law Director is preparing an <br />agreement for the right-of-entry for the Piummo property and also the Strunk <br />property. Mr. Hovancsek's office is preparing the legal description to go <br />with Dale's letter. <br />Fro.nt Row Traffic Problem - covered in the open portion of the meeting. <br />County Assessment - Beech Hill - Mr. Etzler stated that Dale is not present <br />to update the progress of the Village`s r.equest for payment of some $20,000 <br />owed to us by the County. <br />
