120 <br />STANDING COMMITTEE REPORTS: <br />Architectural Review Board - Mr. Amendola said the Board reviewed and <br />approved two sets of plans for new dwellings on Bramblewood at their last <br />meeting. <br />Board of Appeals - Mr. Amendola said there was no requirement for a meeting <br />last month. <br />Commission on Aging - Mr. Etzler noted the September and October calendar <br />of events included flu shot registration, cards, and crafts. There will <br />be a CEI program on October 2nd. The flu shots will be given October 15. <br />Someone from the County will be present during the flu shots to answer <br />questions about heating programs. <br />Finance - Mr. Flynn said the.Committee met September 7. The topics discussed <br />include: Wilson Mills Road, Ridgebury, other capital outlays and how to <br />provide funding for them. <br />Hillcrest Council of Councils - Mr. Petschauer said there was no report. <br />M.A.R.C. - Mr. Etzler said after an in depth study; the Committee has determined <br />that their present carrier offers the best insurance coverage. Gymnastics, <br />which are specifically exempt from the insurance prd.gram, will be sub-contracted <br />to Glory Gymnastics this fall. <br />Planning and Zoning - Mr. Basile reported on the September 8 meeting. Two lot <br />splits were granted. There was insufficient information to review the sketches <br />submitted by Architect Dan Struna for the Van Curen property. <br />Recreation - Mr. Petschauer said the regular monthly meeting will be held <br />Wednesday evening in the Community Room. The Village Halloween Party which <br />is on October 25, will be discussed at that meeting. <br />Safety and Service - Mr. Basile said there was no meeting in August.. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />Hickory Hill Sanitary Sewer (Zupanic) - Mr. Feneli said he was unable to <br />contact Mr. Zupanic and hopes to have something set up this week. He should <br />have a report at the next Caucus. <br />Mr. Basile asked if the work could still be done this year. <br />Mr. Hovancsek said that the sewer work could be done in the fall or winter <br />but the site restoration could not be done until spring. <br />County Beech Hill Assessment - Mr. Feneli said he has the information on that <br />and will give Council a memo for discussion at the October Caucus meeting.' <br />Parking Lot - Motion to Aclvertise for Bids - Mr. Goley, seconded by Mr. Basile, <br />made a motion to ratify the advertisement of bids for the senior center and <br />community room parking lot. <br />Roll Call: AYES: ALL Motion Carried <br />NAYS: None Authorization Given
