150 <br />Mr. K1ang showed a picture of a 22 car garage at 880 Joyce Road. <br />Mr. Goley said there is a•40 x 80 building at this address in addition to <br />the 22 car garage Mr. Klang had the picture of. He said it is on a sma11 <br />lot but that it is well disguised by the landscaping, <br />Mr. Klang showed the third picture which is at 6800 Wilson Mills Road on <br />a double lot and goes approximately 200 feet from Wilson Mills Road. <br />Chief Stevens arrived at this time (8:10 p.m.) <br />Mr. Klang said that cars are now being parked on the slab for the garage. <br />Mayor Carmen said he had asked the Law Director, Mr. Feneli, for his opinion <br />on this. Mr. Feneli had said he felt that they should not be parking any <br />vehicle on the slab now. <br />Mr. Feneli explained that he is still researching that issue, he presently <br />does not have an answer as to why it would not be permitted. He wi11 talk <br />to Mr. Amendola about it tomorrow. <br />Mr. Martin Comella, 673 Robley Lane - asked if Mr. Amendola and the Kolchevars <br />(the owners of the property where the garage is being built) would be <br />attending the A.R.B. meeting on Thursday. <br />Mayor Carmen said that he did not know whether or not the Kolchevars would <br />be attending, it was up to them whether or not they wanted to attend, but <br />that Mr. Amendola would be present. Mr. Basile brought to Mayor Carmen's attention that Mr. Amendola was attending <br />an electrical class on Thursday evenings and may not be there. <br />Mayor Carmen said if Mr. Amendola could be at the meeting, he would be. <br />Mayor Carmen verif ied the meeting will be held in the Council Chambers. <br />Mr. Jerome Catalano, 6752 Hickory Hill Drive - said he and others have been <br />lead to believe that members of Council will be at this meeting Thursday <br />and asked what action would be made. He asked if the A:R.B. decision would <br />come back to Council for passage at a future meeting or what the procedure <br />would be. <br />Mr. Etzler explained that Council has no control over the Architectural Review <br />Board. Cour.cil as a rule does not attend those meetings. <br />Mr. Catalano asked if they recommend to Council. <br />Mr. Etzler said the A.R.B. approves or disapproves plans on the plans merits. <br />He further explained the procedure of the A.R.B. He said to some extend they <br />are governed by.the ordinances of the Village. It is up to them to approve <br />or disapprove a building under the criteria they have to work with. <br />He said there were no variances or zor.?.ing changes for this garagea Those <br />are changes that Council gets involved with.
