11/17/s6 160 Page 2 Mr. Etzler said the Village has recei.ved the letter from Gates Mills agreeing to contribute one-half of the: cost for the new ambulance. DEPARTMEXT HEAD REPORTS : Acting Chief Mohr said that Chief Hejcl has returned home and is doing well. Mr. Feneli said Council should meet in Executive Session before the conclusion of this meeting. He was asked to prepare a comment regarding the litigation that is scheduled for a hearing on Wednesday morning. He has prepared the I.egislation rescinding the prior ordii:ance. Mr. Flynn said he would like to amend the agenda to include Ordir.ance No. 86-28 under new business. (which was the legislation Mr. Feneli was referring to.) • Mr. Basile said he would like to amend the agenda to inclu-e Ordinance No. 86-27 and explained that this ordinance should stop beer parties, etc. Mr. Etzler asked if there were any objections from Council to adding Ordinance No. 86-27 and Ordinance No. 86-28 to the agenda at.the end of New Business. There were no objections. STAI`?DING GOM1<1ITTEE? RERORTS : There were no reports to the Architectural Review Board of the Board of Appeals since Mr. Amendola was not present. Finance - Mr. Flynn said.he had an item to discuss'with Mr. Hovancsek regarding the Horvitz Company which he will talk to him about later. Mr. Flynn said it is necessary that a Special Council Meeting be held on December lst regarding the tax certificate. He said the Committee requests the deYetion of Resolution No. 86-44 from the agenda. TheS' will be introducing a resolution for active and interim deposits next month. He said regarding the medical insurance, they would like to ask Mr. Feneli to contact our present carrier to see about the conditions of termination. The Committee requests passage of Resolution No. 86-56 regarding the zutomobile liability insurance. (See min. of 11/17/86.) Hillcrest Council of Councils - Mr. Petschauer said there was7no meeting; no report. Planning and Zoning - Mr. Basile said the Committee.met lasr Monday. The request made by Julius Paris they would 1ike to refer to Council. The Jefferson Park request for a sign variance was also referred back to Council. M.A.R.C. - Mr. Etzler said there was no report. Recreaticn - Mr. Petschauer reported on the Halloween Party held October 25. Over 325 parents and children attended. They received cider, donuts, candy, popcorn balls, pumpkins, etc. The annual Christmas Party will be on December 14. (see Recreation Minutes) Safety and Service - Mx. Basile asked Mr. Flynn to reFort. Mr. Flynn reported on the idems diseussed at the Safety and Service Meeting of Iv'ovember 12 which was held at the M.V. Fire Dept. (see minutes of 11/12/86) r ? N ,,
