12
Regulaz Council Meeting
1/22/90
Page 4
Mr. Amendola said the prices differed from the original prices he obtained because of the
addirional fencing behind the split rail. He obtained three bids: Headlund Fence -
$1,121.00, Abbey Fence -$840.00, and Williams Fence Company -$761.50. He
recommends the selection of Williams Fence.
Mr. Rinker asked if the fencing would be installed now.
Mr. Hovancsek said we would wait another two months and install the fencing in March.
Mr. Rinker, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to approve the expenditure of
$761.50 to Williams Fence Company for the installation of fencing on S.O.M. Center
Road adjacent to the Hejcl and Stabile properties.
Roll Call: AYES: All
NAYS : None
OLD BUSINESS
Motion Carried
Expenditure Approved
Enzo Construction - Two representarives from Enzo Construction were present.
Mr. Hovancsek said that Mayfield Village would like to know why the project has not been
completed to date.
A gentleman from Enzo Construction said that the weather has been rainy and it has been
too muddy to continue the work.
Mr. Basile asked why they didn't work when the ground was frozen.
A gentleman from Enzo Construction said when the job was bid there were two months of
bad weather and the only good weather occurred around the holidays which was not a good
time to work. He said if they had decent weather they could be done in three weeks. He
explained the hardship of working on a drainage ditch; if it rains there is water in the ditch
for three days. He said they also have a problem getting mud on the roads which they want
to avoid. If we would get a hard freeze, they could be done in two weeks.
Mrs. Mills asked if we could hold them to a date for completion.
Mr. Hovancsek said that would be difficult. He felt that substantial work should be
completed by mid-February. The final seeding and topsoil work, etc. can not be done until
May.
Discussion was held.
Mr. Hovancsek said the quality of the work being done by Enzo Construction was of
acceptable quality, however, it is not as nice as the work done by the previous contractor.
The previous contractor had better equipment and bid a superb job.

t, -'i
