Regulaz Council Meeting 2/22/90 Page 2 M.C.I.C. Meeting - Februarv 5. 1990 - Mrs. Cinco, seconded by Mr. Ferrante, made a motion to approve the minutes. ROLL CALL: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Minutes Approved COMMENTS FROM MAYOR CARMEN Mayor Carmen had no comment. COMMENT5 FROM COUNCIL PRESIDENT MILL Mrs. Mills had no comment. DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORT : Mr. Patrick stated that the auditors will be coming in to do the 1989 audit at the end of this month. There were no other reports from Department Heads. STANDING COMMITTEE REPORTS Architectural Review Board - Mr. Amendola said there was no meering this month. Board of Appeals - Mr. Amendola said there was no requirement for the Board to meet this month. Cemeterv - Mrs. Cinco said there was nothing to report. Cirizen's Advisorv Committee - Mr. Pietrafese said the next meeting will be held on Monday, February 26. Commission on Aging - Mrs. Mills said the Commission held an "Employee Appreciation Luncheon" on February 14; about 20 people attended. Finance - Mr. Flynn said they met this evening. The Committee recommends passage of the following ordinances and resolutions: Ordinances 90-6, 90-9, 90-10, 90-11, 90-12; Resolutions 90-11 (we will receive 50% reimbursement from Gates Mills for the purchase of this ambulance), and Resolurion 90-12. Mr. Flynn reported that the recycling contract was discussed. They are waiting to receive additional information from Mayor Carmen and the Law Director before it can be finalized. He said we will have input from Larry Barrett at the next Council l Caucus. They would like to invite representatives from each department to attend the meeting. Mr. Flynn said the committee also discussed the street lighting proposal. However, in light of the new informarion presented by Mrs. Flugan this evening he recommends waiting on this matter until it is discussed at the next Caucus. He said that 3 more architectural firms will be giving presentations Thursday. ?
