46 <br />Regulaz Council Meeting <br />3/19/90 <br />Page 2 <br />Cemeterv - Mrs. Cinco said there was no report. <br />Cirizen's Advisory Committee - Mr. Pietrafese said they met February 26. T'hey discussed <br />the Byrne sign having changed colors to a brighter orange. They talked about the Aintree <br />North drainage project which is partially completed. The committee also discussed <br />sidewalks which they will bring up at a later date. <br />Mrs. Mills said the Ordinance Review Committee had discussed that and they will be <br />studying it more. <br />Finance Committee - Mr. Flynn said they met this evening. They recommend passage of <br />Ordinance No. 90-14, and suggest holding on passage of Resolution No. 90-18. They <br />went over reports from the State Auditors with the Finance Director and there are no major <br />areas of contention. The comuiittee discussed the 1990 employee hospitalization proposal. <br />They would like Donna to contact Larry Barrett to have him come out to explain it; Council <br />would like to be advised of the date of the meeting. They discussed the car for the Fire <br />Chief and said they are anricipating bidding on a Service Department car also which will go <br />out for bid in the near future. They discussed the bids for the Service Building roo£ They <br />would like to have the guarantee for the rubber roof in writing (20-25 year guazantee). <br />Mr. Amendola will present the information later. <br />Mr. Amendola said the best warranty that is offered on a rubber roof is 10-15 years. <br />Mr. Flynn said the employee incentive program was discussed. There was supposed to be <br />a memo circulated about the survey of employees so they are holding on that item. The <br />Architectural Review Board has a meeting scheduled (and a number of Council members <br />may attend) to discuss the finalizarion of the selecrion of the azchitectural firm for the <br />municipal complex. Mr. Amendola will submit informarion to Council regazding what he <br />would like to do with the 1982 Ford. <br />Commission on A ig?ng, - Mrs. Mills said there was no meeting. <br />Hillcrest Council of Councils - Mr. Ferrante said there was no meeting. <br />Historical Societv - Mrs. Cinco said the inside restorarion of the Historical Home will begin <br />March 22. <br />M.A.R.C. - Mr. Rinker said the election of officers was held. William Sopko was elected <br />President, Joanne Cinco was elected Vice President. According to the reports, the program <br />is running well. <br />Planning and Zoning.- Mr. Basile said the Commission met March 5. The only item on <br />their agenda was the request for a pazking variance by Village Plaza. He said it was the <br />consensus of the Planning and Zoning Commission not to recommend to Council to grant a <br />variance for Village Plaza. <br />Mayor Carmen said he has mixed emotions on this subject. He feels there is no point <br />having codes unless you aze going to enforce them, on the other hand, there has been no <br />time that he has seen that pazking lot full. He does not see any problem from a traffic or <br />pazking standpoint. As far as its precedential value to us; he has concluded that Village <br />officials might want to consider granting a conditional variance. Mayor Carmen said <br /> <br />? <br />? <br />I
