Mr. Ramos could prepare the necessary papers, etc. <br />Mayor Carmen suggested holding a Special Council Meeting at the Council Caucus on <br />Apri12. <br />Mr. Basile asked if our traff'ic officer could take a count of the available spaces at the plaza <br />during different times of the day and if the variance request with the condirions could be <br />refened back to the Planning and Zoning Commission. <br />Mr. Flynn requested that Lt. Jay take the survey. <br />Mayor Carmen said that Lt. Jay could do spot checks of the parking lot and give a report at <br />the Apri12 Council Caucus/Special Meeting. He will ask him to attend that meeting. <br />The doctor in the audience stated that Mr. Goldberg's estimates were accurate. He said <br />they plan to put between $50-100,000 worth of equipment in and it would be in their best <br />interest not to violate the variance. <br />Ordinance Review - Mrs. Mills said they met March 2. They are trying to clear up the old <br />ordinances. . <br />Recrearion Board - Mr. Fietcafese said the Lunch With the Easter Bunny will be held April <br />7. Softball registration is this Wednesday. The fees were slighdy increased. They are <br />working on the illuminarion of the softball field. <br />Mr. Basile asked how many children that sign up for the softball program are from <br />Mayfield Village. <br />Mr. Pietrafese said he thinks the majority of the players are residents. <br />Safety and Service - Mrs. Cinco said they discussed clearing the Service site and the <br />hauling of the soil. <br />Mr. Amendola would like to have it done as soon as possible to get rid of the debris. The <br />esrimate is $3,000. <br />Mayor Carmen said he needs to talk about it with Mr. Amendola and suggested referring it <br />to Caucus. <br />Mrs. Cinco said legislation was prepared for the paramedic-EMT pay increase for 1990. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />Resnonse from Sunrise Land Develonment Comnanv re?ardin? Hi?hland Road draina?e <br />? channel - Mr. Ramos said that Sunrise Development Company gave authorization. As <br />, soon as we get the right-of-entry from Sunrise Development the project can start. He said <br />that we will need a resolution accepting the easements. <br />Mr. Hovancsek said the bid is about 30 days old. He asked if Council wanted him to <br />contact the contractor to obtain an extension on the bid price.
