<br />Regular Council Meeting 3/19/90 <br />Page 8 <br />Quote regazding Professional Sound System - Quote Regarding Portable Lapel <br />Microphones- Mr. Arnendola said he received an estimate in the amount of $1,860 for <br />adding two additional microphones. Lapel microphones sell for about $250 each. <br />Council agreed that the additional microphones should be purchased. <br />O.D.O.T. Garage - Mr. Ramos will report on that to Council during an Executive <br />Session. <br />Versaplex Building Regarding H.D. Kobiltz - Chief Mohr said he has not heard anything <br />further. He explained the possible fire code violation. <br />Mayor Carmen requested that Chief Mohr set up a meering with the man from Versaplex <br />next Wednesday. Mayor Carmen will also attend the meeting. <br />Mother's Day Pancake Breakfast - Mayor Carmen said he usually takes care of placing the <br />orders; Mr. and Mrs. Basile usually assist him. If anyone else wants to get involved they <br />aze welcome to do so. <br />C.E.I. Proposal for Transformers - Cost $5,000 - Mr. Hovancsek said he received the <br />informarion from C.E.I. and explained the proposal. . <br />Mayor Carmen said he did not think there was a current need for the Village to do this. If -`? <br />Progressive needs this work completed, they might want to fund it. <br />Mayor Carmen asked the status of the annual review of Village streets. ? <br />Mr. Hovancsek said this year concrete streets aze to be replaced. He recommends sealing <br />the asphalt streets with any money left from the concrete replacement. <br />Mayor Carmen suggested that this item be discussed at Caucus. He asked Mr. Patrick to <br />review the budget to see what dollars are available for replacement and sealing. <br />First Reading of Ordinance No 90-13, entitled; "AN ORDINANCE REPEALING <br />ORDINANCE NO. 90-12 PERTAINING TO TEE POSITION OF MUlVICIPAL <br />MECHAIVIC AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY." Introduced by Mayor Carmen <br />and Council as a Whole. <br />Mr. Basile, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council <br />requiring an Ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Basile, seconded by Mr. Ferrante, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 90-13. <br />Mr. Ramos said that Resolurion No. 90-13 and the next resolution on the agenda relate to <br />the police mechanic. He explained that the posirion was incorporated in the employee wage <br />ordinance with an hourly rate of $12. The salary for the an assistant mechanic was also <br />incorporateci in the ordinance. .
