Regular Council Meeting 4/16/90 Page 9 I There being no further business, Mrs. Mills said that Council will be recessing into Execurive Session to discuss possible litigation matters. Council went into Executive Session at 9:22 p.m. Council reconvened at 9:50 p.m. Mr. Pietrafese proposed that a committee be created to invesrigate the possibility of acquiruig the golf course. Mayor Carmen said the President of Council has the right to create committees. ?? Mrs. Mills said she just created a committee. It will be called the Golf Course Acquisition Committee." The committee will consist of Mr. Rinker, Mr. Pietrafese, and Mr. Basile. Two Village residents will also be on the committee. Mrs. Mills asked if Council would like to reconsider Resolution No. 90-17. Resolurion No. 90-17, entided; "A RESOLUTION DECLARING TERRA CONSTRUCTION COMPANY AS THE LOWEST AND BEST BIDDER FOR TBE PURPOSE OF DEFINING AND IMPROVING A DRAINAGE CHANNEL NORTH OF HIGHLAND ROAD, CONDITIONALLY AUTHORIZING TBE MAYOR AND PRESIDENT OF COUNCIL TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH SAID BIDDER, REJECTTNG ALL OTBER SERVICES AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY." Introduced by Mayor Caimen and Council as a Whole. ? Mrs. Cinco, seconded by Mr. Pietrafese, made a motion to remove Resolution No. 90-17 from the table. ROLL CALL: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Resolution Removed From Table Mr. Flynn, seconded by Mr. Basile, made a motion to amend Resolution No. 90-17 to include "Sunrise Land Development" in Section 3. ROLL CALL: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Cazried Resolurion Amended Mr. Flynn, seconded by Mr. Basile, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring a resolution to be read on three separate occasions. ROLL CALL: AYES : All NAYS: None Motion Carried Rules Suspended Mr. Basile, seconded by Mr. Flynn, made a motion to adopt Resolution No. 90-17.
