c <br />R? <br />Regular Council Meeting <br />9/17/90 <br />Page 3 <br />Finance Committee - Mr. Flynn said the committee met this evening. They recommend approval <br />of Ordinance 90-38, Resolutions 90-61, 90-62. Mr. Flynn asked Mr. Hovancsek if he was <br />comfortable with the company who submitted the bid for the Wilson Mills/SOM Center Road <br />signalization. <br />Mr. Hovancsek said yes; they have been doing work with Mayfield Village for many yeazs. <br />Mr. Flynn said they have no comments regarding the Golf Course Acquisition Committee; they <br />will ask to go into Executive Session. Sidewalk replacement will be discussed at Caucus, and they <br />need more information regarding Village Days. The Committee would like to receive further <br />information from Mayor Carmen, the Finance Director, and Law Director regarding the Recrearion <br />5 Mile Race. Hillcrest Council of Councils - Mr. Ferrante said there was no report. <br />Historical Societv - Mrs. Cinco said that 125 people attended the Ice Cream Social and Open <br />House on Wednesday. They hope to complete the living room by Christmas. The Quilt Show will <br />be held October 12, 13, and 14 in the Community Room. <br />M.A.R.C. - Mr. Rinker said the annual M.A.R.C. Art Show will be held in the Mayfield Heights <br />Community Room at the end of October. <br />Ordinance Review - Mrs. Mills said they did not meet this past month. <br />Mrs. Mills said that the Recreation Board will not be meeting this Wednesday; the da.te was <br />changed. The meeting will be held October 27 at 8 p.m. <br />Planning and Zoning - W. Basile said they met September 10. Discussion was held on the new <br />development--Village Trails. <br />W. Hovancsek explained the retaining wall which was slightly modified and explained why a <br />variance of the grade is required. <br />Mr. Basile said that Planning and Zoning will approve that variance. <br />Mrs. Mills asked how soon they will be bringing in a concept plan. <br />Mr. Hovancsek said he will look at it again. The developer would not like to supply the full right <br />of way; the engineers aze concentrating on that matter at this time. Ingress and egress is no longer <br />an issue. Mr. Hovancsek said it is in their hands at this point; they must rework the plan and <br />resubmit it. The sewage issue has not been resolved and is far from resolution at this time. <br />Mr. Basile asked about Fisher's Tavern. <br />Mr. Ramos sta.ted that because of pending litigation he would rather not comment. He will make a <br />report to Council if there is an Executive Session.
