1. 78 _ <br />Regular Council Meeting <br />10/15/90 <br />Page 2 <br />emete - Mrs. Cinco said there was no report. <br />Cirizen's Advisorv Committee - Mr. Pietrafese said there was no meeting <br />Commission on Aging - Mrs. lYlills said they have not met for a while. They will have one soon to <br />discuss the Christmas party. <br />Finance Committee - Mr. Flynn said the committee recommends passage of the following: <br />Ordinances 90-42, 90-43. They have discussed the tenns and conditions for the Recreation <br />Coordinator and recommend Council move ahead with this item. T'hey recommend approval of the <br />revised Contemporary Electric invoice. They will need additional information and further study <br />regarding the staffing costs in the Fire Department. They have discussed the municipal complex <br />and have no input at this time. The Finance Director will give them additional informarion on the <br />Itecreation Board 5 Mile Race and Scholarship Fund. <br />Hillcrest Council of Councils - Mr. Feirante said there was no meeting. <br />Historical Societv - Mrs. Cinco said the quilt show was very successful. Over 435 people <br />attended. <br />M.A.R.C. - Mr. Rinker said the Annual Art Show will be held October 29-November 4 at the <br />Mayfield Heights Community Center. <br />Ordinance Review Committee - Mrs. Mills said a few people could not make it on the 24th, so the <br />next meeting will be held October 29 at 7:30 p.m. <br />Beg ar's Night will be Halloween night (October 31) from 6:30-9:30 p.m <br />Planning and Zonin,.,g - Mr. Basile reported on the October lst meeting. Euclid Industries requested <br />a parking lot expansion. The Commission approved it subject to approval of the Engineer and <br />, compliance with ordinances. A revised drawing will be submitted. They also discussed Fisher's <br />Tavern. <br />IZecreation - Mr. Pietrafese said the Boazd met September 27. They had a very successful card <br />show this past weekend. The turnout was not what they wanted but they think they will do better <br />in the future. Mr. Pietrafese said the 5 Mile Run was a great success. He expressed thanks to Mr. <br />Miceli and Mr. Romanini and TransOhio (the sponsors.) The Christmas Party was discussed. <br />They are updating the fields and helping to renovate fields at the Middle School. <br />Mrs. Mills said that there were many hot dogs left over from the race and asked if they should use <br />them at the Halloween Party. Everyone agreed. <br />Safet,y/Service - Mrs. Cinco said the committee met October lst. The discussed the berm work to <br />be done on Wilson Mills, the condition of doors in the Fire Department and diesel fumes. There <br />was no report on low sodium lights (less than 15% have been converted in the last 6 months.) <br />1VIr. Patrick reported that they are within their contract; they have until March 1991 to complete the <br />project.
