1. 78 _ Regular Council Meeting 10/15/90 Page 2 emete - Mrs. Cinco said there was no report. Cirizen's Advisorv Committee - Mr. Pietrafese said there was no meeting Commission on Aging - Mrs. lYlills said they have not met for a while. They will have one soon to discuss the Christmas party. Finance Committee - Mr. Flynn said the committee recommends passage of the following: Ordinances 90-42, 90-43. They have discussed the tenns and conditions for the Recreation Coordinator and recommend Council move ahead with this item. T'hey recommend approval of the revised Contemporary Electric invoice. They will need additional information and further study regarding the staffing costs in the Fire Department. They have discussed the municipal complex and have no input at this time. The Finance Director will give them additional informarion on the Itecreation Board 5 Mile Race and Scholarship Fund. Hillcrest Council of Councils - Mr. Feirante said there was no meeting. Historical Societv - Mrs. Cinco said the quilt show was very successful. Over 435 people attended. M.A.R.C. - Mr. Rinker said the Annual Art Show will be held October 29-November 4 at the Mayfield Heights Community Center. Ordinance Review Committee - Mrs. Mills said a few people could not make it on the 24th, so the next meeting will be held October 29 at 7:30 p.m. Beg ar's Night will be Halloween night (October 31) from 6:30-9:30 p.m Planning and Zonin,.,g - Mr. Basile reported on the October lst meeting. Euclid Industries requested a parking lot expansion. The Commission approved it subject to approval of the Engineer and , compliance with ordinances. A revised drawing will be submitted. They also discussed Fisher's Tavern. IZecreation - Mr. Pietrafese said the Boazd met September 27. They had a very successful card show this past weekend. The turnout was not what they wanted but they think they will do better in the future. Mr. Pietrafese said the 5 Mile Run was a great success. He expressed thanks to Mr. Miceli and Mr. Romanini and TransOhio (the sponsors.) The Christmas Party was discussed. They are updating the fields and helping to renovate fields at the Middle School. Mrs. Mills said that there were many hot dogs left over from the race and asked if they should use them at the Halloween Party. Everyone agreed. Safet,y/Service - Mrs. Cinco said the committee met October lst. The discussed the berm work to be done on Wilson Mills, the condition of doors in the Fire Department and diesel fumes. There was no report on low sodium lights (less than 15% have been converted in the last 6 months.) 1VIr. Patrick reported that they are within their contract; they have until March 1991 to complete the project.
