<br />Regular Council Meeting <br />12/17/90 <br />Page 2 <br />Mr. Ramos said that on December 3 he attended a seminaz regarding cable television. Mr. Ramos <br />said this seminar was very interesting and he appreciated the time and money the Village spent for <br />hun to attend <br />Mr. Hovancsek azrived at this time (8:02 p.m.). <br />Mr. Ramos said that representatives from many municipalities attended the seminar. Several ideas <br />vNere presented and he thinks the Village needs to check into several provisions mentioned to see if <br />they apply to our contract. <br />Mayor Carmen said they will have some interesting stuff to report shortly. <br />STANDING CONIMITTEE REPORTS <br />Architectural Review Board - Mr. Amendola said the Architectural Review Board held two <br />meetings; one in October and December. They approved a single-family residence, a garage, <br />corrected the flooring required in a garage, approved 2 signs , a room addition and a fence. <br />Board of Mneals - Mr. Amendola stated there was no requirement to hold a Board of Appeals <br />meeting. <br />Cemeterv - Mrs. Cinco stated there was no requirement to hold a meeting. <br />Cirizen's Advisorv Committee - Mr. Pietrafese reported no meeting was held since his last report. <br />Commission on Aging - Mrs. Mills sated that the commission held their annual Christmas party <br />this past week. She thinks they had close to 100 people. She said she thinks that is the best turn <br />out they have ever had. <br />Finance Committee - Mr. Flynn stated the committee met this evening. They recommend approval <br />of the following: 1) Ordinance 90-51 <br />2) Ordinance 90-50 <br />3) Resolution 90-78 <br />Mr. Flynn asked Mr. Hovancsek the rime frame to complete this project. <br />1VIr. Hovancsek said it interfaces with Burgess and Niple and their plans. <br />4) Resolution 90-80 <br />Mr. Flynn said that if there are any questions he will ask Mr. Patrick to elaborate on this. <br />5) Resolution 90-79 <br />IYIr. Flynn stated that Mr. Patrick and Mayor Carmen will be getting further information regarding <br />the municipal complex and there will be further discussion and study regarding this item. <br />Hillcrest Council of Councils - Mr. Ferrante said there was no report. <br />
