212 <br />Regular Council Meeting <br />12/17/90 <br />Page 8 <br />Fust Reading of Resolurion No. 90-78, entitled; "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TBE <br />MAYOR AND PRESIDENT OF COUNCIL TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH URS <br />CONSULTANTS, INC. - OHIO FOR CONSULTING SERVICES REGARDING STORM <br />`TVATER MANAGEMENT FOR THE UPPER FORTY TRIBUTARY DRAINAGE AREAS AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY." Introduced by Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole. <br />Mrs. Cinco, seconded by Mr. Ferrante, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring a <br />resolution to be read on three separate occasions. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Basile, made a morion to adopt Resolution No. 90-78. <br />Mr. Hovancsek said he recommends Council move forwazd with this. He explained how URS <br />and Burgess and Niple will interface on this. Mr. Hovancsek said the representatives from the <br />Metropark said they wanted us to pay for the study through the park. Mr. Hovancsek said they <br />discussed four different alternatives that they would like studied. He said URS will prepare a <br />vvritten report with graphics and will meet with Council to go over their report. He said the Village <br />will then give the report to the Metroparks for their review. Mr. Hovancsek said that Burgess and <br />Niple cannot finalize their study until they know how much water can be allowed to discharge the <br />Metropark system. <br />Mrs. Mills asked if work on the project could begin in May or June (assuming we have the dollars <br />for the project.) <br />Mr. Hovancsek said we should know the project scope and cost by February so it may be possible <br />to begin work in the Spring. <br />Ivlayor Carmen asked Steve to generate a letter to the 3 residents to let them know what was going <br />on. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />First Reading of Resolution No. 90-79, entitled; "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TBE <br />MAYOR AND PRESIDENT OF COUNCIL TO ENTER INTO A MAINTENANCE CONTRACT <br />WITH AMERITECH INFORMATION SYSTEMS, INC. FOR THE ENHANCED 9-1-1 <br />SYSTEM AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY."
