Roll Call: AYES: Mr. Basile, Mrs. Cinco, Mr. Flynn, Mrs. Mills, Mr. Rinker, and Mr. Santoro NAYS: None ABSTAIN: Mr. Petschauer Motion Carried Minutes Approved Meeting of Council on January 18, 1989. Roll Call: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Agenda Amended Mr. Flynn, seconded by Mr. Basile, made a motion to amend the agenda to include consideration of the Minutes of the Special Special Meeting of Council - Januarv 18, 1989 - Mr. Flynn, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a motion to approve the minutes. Roll Call: AYES: Mr. Basile, Mrs. Cinco, Mr. Flynn, Mrs. Mills, Mr. Rinker, and Mr. Santoro NAYS: None ABSTAIN: Mr. Petschauer Motion Carried Minutes Approved COMMENTS FROM MAYOR CARMEN Mayor Carmen administered oaths of office to the following: Monica Forsberg Village Days Committee Jane Petschauer Recreation Board Mary Beth Brooks Citizen's Advisory Robert Schulte Citizen's Advisory Ralph Green Board of Appeals COMMENTS FROM COUNCIL PRESIDENT BASILE Mr. Basile said that there was excess salt on the streets this past weekend and asked Mr. Amendola if there was any way we can control that. Mr. Amendola explained that the heavy salting of the dry streets was done because there was a threat of an ice storm. Mayor Carmen commented that we were not the only community to do so. He said that he would urge Councilmembers to tell people that we must defer to the expertise of our officials regarding such matters.
