Ji? <br />Regular Council Meeting <br />1/23/89 <br />Page 3 <br />Mr. Basile said that he had noticed Village police cars using <br />radar in Willoughby Hills. <br />Chief Stevens said that if there were Village cars in Willoughby <br />Hills that they weren't running radar. <br />Mayor Carmen asked Chief Stevens to follow up on this matter. He <br />explained that if it is possible to get a car number and the exact <br />time it is easier to check into. <br />DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS <br />Mr. Patrick reported that it was a productive year in the Finance <br />Department. He said that W-2's will be out shortly. <br />Mr. Ramos said that the agenda will have to be amended this <br />evening to include the ordinance regarding the part-time mechanic. <br />STANDING COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />Architectural Review Board - Mr. Amendola reported that they had <br />only received one set of drawings to consider but that they were <br />incomplete. <br />Board of Appeals - Mr. Amendola said there was no requirement for <br />a meeting this month. <br />Cemetery - Mrs. Cinco said there was no report. <br />Commission on Aging - Mrs. Cinco said there will be a meeting on <br />Monday. <br />Finance Committee - Mr. Flynn said that the Committee met this <br />evening. All members of Council were present. He said that the <br />following legislation is recommended for passage: <br />Resolutions No. 88-62, 88-63, 89-2, 89-3 <br />Ordinances No. 89-3, 89-4, 89-5 <br />Mr. Petschauer said that during that meeting he made the request <br />that regarding Ordinances 89-3 and 89-4 which state that they are <br />"Introduced by Mayor Carmen and the Entire Council", that the <br />legislation read that it is only endorsed by the members who <br />endorse it; he is not in favor of those ordinances. <br />Historical Society - Mrs. Cinco said that Mr. Plastine had already <br />reported. <br />M.A.R.C. - There was no report. <br />Ordinance Review Committee. - Mr. Basile said that they did not <br />have a meeting in December. <br />Planning and Zoning - Mr. Basile said the Commission met on <br />January 9. They appointed Mr. Newman as the P&Z representative to <br />the Board of Appeals.
