Z? <br />Regular Council.Meeting <br />1/23/89 <br />Page 6 <br />Ice Bits - Mr. Basile said that a resident had asked him if the <br />roads could be swept to get rid of the excess bits. <br />Mr. Amendola said that the Village does not have sweepers and that <br />the roads are swept in the spring. <br />Paris Proposal - Mayor Carmen said that this matter could be <br />discussed at the Council Caucus after we receive more information <br />about ingress and egress. <br />Civil Service Commission Appointment - Mayor Carmen said that he <br />had none to report at this time. <br />Faulkner Lawsuit - Mayor Carmen said that he had not had an <br />opportunity to see how far Dale Feneli had gotten into it but will <br />be checking with him on Wednesday. <br />Maples Condominiums - Mr. Amendola said that the County was out <br />and they have agreed to make maintenance checks more frequently. <br />Mr. Amendola said he would like the line to be checked at least <br />once a month. He said that Mr. Hovancsek had sent a letter to the <br />County asking them to review the plan because maintenance isn't <br />the only answer. He explained exactly what the problem was and <br />said that the County is supposed to get back to Mr. Hovancsek <br />with an answer. <br />Standpipe at Ma_yfield Methodist Church - Mr. Wolszynek said that <br />Mr. Hovancsek had spoken to Mr. Agresta today and that an <br />independent company was hired to do pressure tests on the <br />standpipe. <br />Wilson Mills Striping - Mr. Wolszynek said that the striping will <br />be done in the spring at the County's or the contractor's expense. <br />Material at 475 S.O.M. Center Road - Mr. Amendola said that he <br />was sent a second notice which allows him seven more days to take <br />action. After that, he will receive a citation for court. <br />Capital Improvement Inventory - 5 year plan - Mr. Wolszynek said <br />that they are 95% complete with the infastructure inventory and <br />will be presenting a 5-year plan and what they plan to request for <br />Issue 2 Funding for 1989-90 to Mayor Carmen later this week. <br />Ditches at. Highland & White Road - Mr. Wolszynek said that <br />C.E.I. has to lower one culvert pipe before the work can be done. <br />They have been contacted. ? <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 89-1, entitled; "AN ORDINANCE <br />SUBMITTING TO THE ELECTORATE OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, NINE (9) <br />ORDINANCES AMENDING OR REPEALING THE PLANNING AND ZONING CODE OF <br />MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, PROVIDING FOR ALL NECESSARY PROCEDURES IN <br />CONNECTION THEREWITH AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY."
