rn ?? <br />Regular Council Meeting <br />Z/ZO/89 <br />Page 2 <br />Mr. Ramos administered the oath of office to Vincent A. Feudo as <br />Village Prosecutor. <br />COMMENTS FROM COUNCIL PRESIDENT BASILE <br />Mr. Basile said he had.no comments at this time. <br />DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS <br />Mr. Ramos said that he would prefer to comment on various legislation <br />as they come up for discussion on the agenda. <br />There were no other comments. <br />STANDING COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />Architectural Review Board - Mr. Amendola said that two signs and a <br />single-family residence were reviewed and approved at the last meeting. <br />Board of Appeals - Mr. Amendola said there was no requirement for a <br />Board of Appeals Meeting last month. <br />Cemetery - Mrs. Cinco said there was no report. <br />Commission on Aging - Mrs. Mills said that the Commission on Aging held <br />their annual meeting on January 30. Recent functions include a <br />Valentine Party recently and a luncheon for employees. They will have <br />a private tour of the Mayfield High School facility on February 28. <br />Finance Committee - Mr. Flynn said the committee discussed the <br />following items at their last meeting: <br />SPAN Dues - The committee recommends approval of $2,500 SPAN dues <br />this evening and would like to take up the balance due when the time <br />occurs. <br />Resolution No. 89-10 - The committee would like to have additional <br />information about the repair work completed. <br />Waste Management - Legislation on hold temporarily. <br />Salary Ordinances - Were discussed. They would like to hold a <br />Finance Committee Meeting between now and Monday and suggest that a <br />Special Council Meeting be held on Monday at 8 p.m. to take this up <br />further. <br />Hillcrest Council of Councils - Mrs. Cinco said there is no report. <br />Historical Society - Mrs. Mills said they met on February 28. The <br />water, electricity, a sump pump, and storm drains have been connected <br />in the Historical House. The committee is planning an art show, <br />and a pencil drive. They have 116 members. The proceeds from the <br />Turkey Raffle was approximately $1,049.
