?ru Q? <br />Regular Council Meeting <br />2/20/89 - <br />Page 3 <br />M.A.R.C. - Mr. Rinker said that the Mayfield High School Athletic <br />Facility was discussed at their February Meeting. He said that <br />members of the four communities may use the facility free of charge. <br />Photo identification cards will be issued. <br />Mrs. Cinco said the photo identification cards will cost $2 for <br />residents between the ages of 18 and 65, and $1 for residents 65 years <br />of age and over. She gave the dates the and places where the I.D. <br />cards would be issued. Mrs. Cinco said that a special edition of Your <br />Ma_yfield Schools will give additional details. <br />Ordinance Review Committee - Mr. Basile said there was no meeting this <br />month. <br />Planning and Zoning - Mr. Basile said the parking variance granted to <br />Euclid Industries in 1981 and drawings submitted by Mr. Paris were <br />discussed at their February 6 meeting. He said that they asked Mr. <br />Ramos to investigate the journal entry that prohibits him from coming <br />out onto S.O.M. Center Road. <br />Mr. Ramos said that after reviewing the judgment entry he hopes to be <br />able to write a report for Council by the next meeting. <br />Recreation - Mr. Petschauer reported that the following items were <br />discussed: <br />Annual Easter Party Lunch and Egg Hunt will be held on March 18. <br />Landscape Architect - The committee has requested that he be called <br />upon to evaluate Wiley Park to determine the best possible location for <br />a childrens park. <br />Softball <br />Why was $416 for lumber taken out of the Recreation Fund in <br />September 1988? <br />Compensation and incentive for the Recreation Board - Mr. Petschauer <br />requested that this item be placed on the Council Caucus agenda. <br />Mr. Basile said that it should be discussed by the Finance Committee <br />first. <br />Jane Petschauer, Recreation Director (in the audience) said that the <br />Recreation Board would like to thank Council for being supportive of <br />their Board.. She said that since the Community Room was built they <br />have requested storage space. They have not received it to this date. <br />She said that even if they could have something like the large lockers <br />it would be helpful. Terry Santoro, Recreation Board Secretary (in the <br />audience) said that they have found several things missing. <br />Mr. Amendola explained that through arrangements made with the Mayfield <br />School Board, 10' of space was transferred to the Village which would <br />permit us to extend the building. The extension area would permit us <br />to accommodate everyone with locker space. <br />Mrs. Petschauer asked if temporary arrangements could be made until the <br />extension is completed.
