Regular Council Meeting
2/20/89
Page 4
Mr. Amendola said that he will discuss possible arrangements with Mrs.
Petschauer and Mrs. Santoro after the meeting.
Safety and Service - Mr. Flynn said that they will elect a Chairman
after the Special Meeting next Monday.
OLD BUSINESS
Aintree North Drainage - Mr. Ramos said that Mr. Caticchio had said
that we should not have written directly to Mr. Aveni. He said that
Mr. Caticchio said if the Village wants to resolve this matter that is
one thing, however, if the Village's stand is that they are solely
responsible, there is nothing to discuss. They would be willing to
meet with Mayor Carmen and Council during an Executive Session--it is
possible this matter could be a matter of litigation. Mr. Ramos said
that he told Mr. Caticchio that he would discuss the matter with
Council.
Discussion was held about whether or not this should be considered a
"pending litigation" matter.
Mr. Rinker suggested that Mr. Ramos ask Mr. Caticchio to draft a letter
about the points he considers sensitive which would help Council to
determine whether or not this would be considered a matter of pending
litigation.
High Band Frequency Communication System - Chief Stevens said they are
still negative on a couple of items and are in the licensing process.
Drainage - North Side of Highland - Mr. Ramos said that he talked to
Rusty Roseback after the last Council Caucus. He said that Mr. Roseback
said that he would talk to his supervisor and get back to him about it.
Burgess & Niple - Mr. Hovancsek said that a meeting to discuss the
final report will be held this Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. at the Village
Hall.
Beech Hill Pump Station - Mr. Hovancsek said that he didn't know what
the County was doing and that he received a copy of the Mayor's letter
to the sewer district.
Traffic Light at Raleigh Drive - Mr. Hovancsek said the plans for two
left-turn lights at Wilson Mills and S.O.M. Center Raod were submitted
to the Ohio Department of Transportation. He requested authorization
to go out for bids.
Mr. Flynn, seconded by Mr. Basile, made a motion to authorize the
advertisement of bids for two left-turn lights at Wilson Mills and
S.O.M. Center Roads.
Roll Call: AYES: All
NAYS: None Motion Carried
Advertisement Authorized
