\ - 50 Regular Council Meeting 4/17/89 Page 11 Mr. Flynn, seconded by Mr. Rinker, made a motion to adopt Resolution No. 89-20. Roll Call: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Resolution Adopted First Reading of Resolution No. 89-21, entitled; "A RESOLUTION OPPOSING ACTION OF THE OHIO GENERAL ASSEMBLY TO REQUIRE CENTRALIZED MOTOR VEHICLE EXHAUST INSPECTIONS." Introduced by Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole. Mr. Ramos said that Council only needed a motion to pass the ordinance. Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Rinker, made a motion to adopt Resolution No. 89-21. A brief discussion was held about why the emergency clauses were omitted. Roll Call: AYES: Al1 NAYS: None Motion Carried , Resolution Adopted First Reading of Resolution No. 89-22, entitled; "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND PRESIDENT OF COUNCIL TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH BUCKEYE STATE SHOWS, INC. FOR RIDES, SHOWS AND PROFESSIONAL CONCESSIONS AT VILLAGE HOMEDAYS AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY." Mr. Flynn, seconded by Mr. Basile, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring a resolution to be read on three separate occasions. Roll Call: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Resolution Adopted First Reading of Resolution No. 89-23, entitled; "A RESOLUTION URGING THE ELECTORATE OF CUYAHOGA COUNTY TO VOTE "YES" ON ISSUE 14 RENEWING THE 5- YEAR 1.0 MILL LEVY FOR PURPOSES OF GENERAL OPERATION EXPENSES OF THE CUYAHOGA COUNTY PUBLIC LIBRARY."
