7:.?> Regular Council Meeting 4/17/89 Page 12 First Reading of Resolution No. 89-25, entitled; "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND PRESIDENT OF COUNCIL TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH BOB JONES PROMOTIONAL ATTRACTIONS, FOR A PETTING Z00 ATTRACTION AT VILLAGE HOMEDAYS IN THE AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED THREE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($3,500.00) AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY." Introduced by Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole. Mr. Flynn, seconded by Mr. Basile, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring a resolution to be read on three separate occasions. Roll Call: AYES: All NAYS: None Mr. Rinker, seconded by Mr. Basile, made a motion to adopt Resolution No. 89-25. Mr. Petschauer asked Mayor Carmen if he had talked to the people who put on the E. 185th Street Festival because they had some problems with a petting zooo Mayor Carmen said that we had received good recommendations for this company. Roll Call: AYES: All NAYS: None First Reading of Resolution No. 89-26, entitled; "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PAYMENT TO THE SUBURBAN POLICE ANTI-CRIME NETWORK IN THE AMOUNT OF FIVE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($5,500.00) FOR MAYFIELD VILLAGE'S _ CONTRIBUTION TO THE 1989 BUDGET AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY." Introduced by Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole. Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Rinker, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring a resolution to be read on three separate occasions.
