We will <br />purchase the item and the County will reimburse us. He said that we <br />will be purchasing other items to be reimbursed that are under $2,500. <br />Third Reading of Ordinance No. 89-8 (as amended 5/8/89), entitled; "AN <br />ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 1313.03 AND 1313.06 OF THE CODIFIED <br />ORDINANCES OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, PERMITTING SUSPENSION OF <br />CONTRACTORS' REGISTRATION WITH THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT UNDER CERTAIN <br />CIRCUMSTANCES." Introduced by Mayor Carmen and the Entire Council. <br />(First Reading 2/20, Second Reading 3/20, Atnended and Second Reading <br />again on 4/17/89.) <br />Mr. Ramos said that he would like to make two amendments to the <br />ordinance: Under 1313.06, 4th line in the bold caps of should be or. <br />Also, the 4th to last line, the word recommendation should be added. <br />Mr. Flynn, seconded by Mr. Basile, made a motion to amend Ordinance <br />89-8 according to the corrections as noted by Mr. Ramos. <br />Roll Call: AYES: Al1 <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Amended <br />Mr. Flynn, seconded by Mr. Basile, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. <br />89-8 as amended. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Enacted <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />New Traffic Tickets - Mr. Flynn, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion <br />to approve the expenditure of $2,775 for new traffic tickets for the <br />Police Department. <br />Roll Call: AYES: Al1 <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Expenditure Approved <br />Associated Estates Proposal - Mr. Basile said that they presented a <br />proposal at the last Council Caucus and that Mayor Carmen had asked <br />them to come back with another proposal. <br />Mayor Carmen said that he had not heard back from them yet but that <br />they were kicking around a proposal of multi-family/residential use as <br />opposed to commercial. He feels that they would like to be community <br />cooperative and would be happy to give us another proposal if it is <br />economically feasible. <br /> <br /> <br />
