Pagers for Fire Dept. - Mayor Carmen <br />said these items are on the budget. <br />Pick Up Truck for Service Dept. - This item was already discussed. <br />Drug Watch - Mr. Basile said he felt this should information be <br />publicized. ` <br />Update of Septic System - Mr. Basile said that he had received a phone <br />call from a resident on Highland Road who was told they must update <br />their system. <br />Mr. Hovancsek said that he had not received anything from John McCloud <br />at the Board of Health about it yet. <br />Mayor Carmen said that we can help residents to get the information as <br />quickly as possible as to why it must be updated and the cost but we <br />must be careful not to get between reisdents and the Health Department. <br />Mr. Hovancsek will find out the rates if he can. <br />Haffe_y Litigation - Mr. Ramos said that Mr. Feneli had sent a letter <br />about their being in the flood plain. <br />Mayor Carmen said the next time he talks to Dale Feneli he hopes this <br />matter will be resolved. He asked Donna to ask Dale to be present at <br />the next Council Caucus to update him and Councilon the litigation <br />matters he is handling. <br />Letter re Final Judgments - Mr. Patrick said that he is required to <br />check with legal counsel about any final claims filed against the <br />Village. As of the date of the letter he submitted to Council, there <br />has not been anything. He said that there is litigation, but there <br />have been no final judgments made against the Village. <br />Second Reading of Ordinance No. 89-14, entitled; "AN ORDINANCE RE- <br />ESTABLISHING BENEFITS AND OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT FOR <br />ANNETTE JEROME AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY." Introduced by Mayor Carmen <br />and the Entire Council. (First Reading 4/17/89.) <br />Mr. Basile said that the Finance Committee has recommended that this <br />item has been referred to the next Council Caucus (June 5.)
