?9 <br />MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF COUNCIL <br />Mayfield Village <br />May 16, 1_989 <br />The Council of Mayfield Village met in Special Session on Monday, May <br />16, 1989, at nine o'clock p.m. (9:00 p.m.) in the Council Chambers at <br />the Mayfield Village Hall. Council President Santo Basile presided. <br />Roll Call: Present: Mr. Basile, Mrs. Cinco, Mr. Flynn, Mrs. Mills, <br />Mr. Petschauer, Mr. Rinker, and Mr. Santoro. <br />Absent : None <br />Also Present Were . Mr. Amendola, Mr. Ramos, and Miss Heath. <br />Sale of Dump Truck <br />Mr. Ramos said that we need a motion from Council to reject the lowest <br />bid and to accept the highest bid received for the sale of the dump <br />truck. <br />Mr. Rinker, seconded by Mr. Basile, made a motion to accept the bid <br />received for the sale of the 1975 International one-ton dump truck with <br />snow plow to Robert South in the amount of $750.00, and to reject all , <br />other bids received. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />The bid received from Robert South in the amount of $750.00 was <br />accepted. All other bids received were rejected. <br />Sale of Volare <br />Mr. Ramos said that since we did not receive any bids for the purchase <br />of the Volare that Council needed to make a motion to authorize the <br />Building Commissioner/Service Director to sell the Volare at the best <br />possible price since it is valued under $1,000.00. <br />Mr. Rinker, seconded by Mr. Santoro, made a motion to authorize the <br />Building Commissioner/Service Director to sell the 1978 Plymouth Volare <br />4-door sedan for the best price. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br /> <br />Motion Carried <br />Authorization Given
