<br />Regular Council Meeting <br />6/19/89 <br />Page 8 <br />Mr. Amendola said that he walked the cemetery for the entire distance <br />adjacent to the stream. He said that he estimated that about 30% of <br />the people that he notified have done the job or have started it. <br />Mr. Amendola said that others have ignored his letter. He said that <br />they will be properly notified that accord'ing to his letter, if they do <br />not take care of the problem themselves the Service Department will do <br />the necessary cleaning and they will be charged for it. <br />'89 Budget - Mr. Flynn said this item was covered during the Finance <br />Committee report. <br />Drainage Ditch at Kotach Property - Mr. Basile asked if this was <br />Village responsibility. <br />Mr. Hovancsek said that the Village is responsible for keeping the <br />ditch open for water flow. <br />Mayor Carmen said that the Village will clean it this year and look at <br />retiling it next year. <br />Drainage Ditch at Finke Property - Mayor Carmen said that this is part <br />of the Aintree North channel matter. <br />Operational Rules for Cuyahoga County Airport - Mr. Basile said that we <br />received a copy of an ordinance from Richmond Heights. He asked Mr. <br />Ramos to prepare a similar resolution for Mayfield Village. <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 89-20, entitled; "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING <br />SECTION 1501.13 OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, <br />PERTAINING TO THE INSTALLATION OF KEY BOXES ON PROPERTIES PROTECTED BY <br />AUTOMATIC ALARM SYSTEMS." Introduced by Mayor Carmen and Council as a <br />Whole. <br />Chief Mohr said he would like to see this ordinance amended to include <br />public structures in the Industrial Park, to include renovation, new " <br />tenants and new owners. <br />Mr. Flynn said that he would like to refer this ordinance to the Safety <br />and Service Committee and suggested that it just be placed on first <br />reading this evening. <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 89-21, entitled; "AN ORDINANCE ENACTING <br />CHAPTER 765 OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, <br />ENTITLED "PROPANE TANK SALES," PROHIBITING THE COMMERCIAL STORAGE, SALE <br />AND/OR EXCHANGE OF FILLED PROPANE TANKS WITHIN MAYFIELD VILLAGE9 <br />ESTABLISHING PENALTIES THEREFOR, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY." <br />Introduced by Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole. <br />Mr. Basile, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a motion to suspend the rules <br />of Council requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate <br />occasions. <br />Fl <br /> <br />
