Introduced by Mayor Carmen <br />and the Entire Council. (First Reading 4/17/89, Second Reading <br />5/15/89.) <br />Mr. Flynn, seconded by Mr. Basile, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. <br />89-14. <br />Roll Call: AYES: Mr. Basile, Mr. Flynn, Mr. Petschauer, and Mr. <br />• Santoro. <br />NAYS: Mrs. Cinco, Mrs. Mills <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Enacted <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />New Village Signs - Mr. Basile asked if we had advertised for bids yet. <br />Mayor Carmen said no. <br />Jul_y 3 Caucus - Mr. Basile asked if Council wanted to hold the July 3rd <br />_ Council Caucus on that date or move it to the next week. <br />Council agreed that the July Council Caucus woudl be held on July 10. <br />Executive Sessions - November Ballot - Mr. Ramos said that requirements <br />for a charter amendment to be placed on the ballot state that it cannot <br />be submitted more than 120 days or less than 60 days before the <br />election. He said that legislation will be prepared for the July or <br />August meeting. <br />Sealing of parking lots & drive -(Village Hall and Service Bldg.) - <br />Mr. Basile said that Mr. Amendola had given him copies of the written <br />quotations. <br />Mr. Ramos said that since we have received three written quotations we <br />just need a motion from Council to accept the lowest bid. <br />Mr. Flynn, seconded by Mr. Basile, made a motion to accept the bid from <br />Carr Asphalt Paving Co. in the amount of $3,999 for the sealing of the <br />parking lots and drive at the Village Hall and Service Building. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Expenditure Approved <br />Dumping of grass clippings etc. - Aintree North Drainage Ditch - Mr. <br />Basile asked if Mr. Amendola had talked to any of the residents about <br />this.
