<br />Regular Council Meeting <br />7/17/89 <br />Page 13 <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 89-22, entitled; "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING <br />SECTION 1(N) OF ORDINANCE 89-10 PERTAINING TO WAGES, BENEFITS AND <br />OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT FOR EMPLOYEES OF MAYFIELD <br />VILLAGE, OHIO SO AS TO REQUIRE A FIDELITY BOND FOR VARIOUS EMPLOYEES <br />WITHIN THE BUILDING AND FINANCE DEPARTMENT, REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES <br />INCONSISTENT HEREWITH AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY." Introduced by Mayor <br />Carmen and Council as a Whole. <br />Mr. Basile, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a motion to suspend the rules <br />of Council requiring a resolution to be read on three separate <br />occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: Al1 <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Rinker, made a motion to enact Ordinance <br />No. 89-22. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 89-28, entitled; "AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING <br />A TAX BUDGET FOR MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, FOR THE YEAR 1990 AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY." Introduced by Mayor Carmen and Council as a <br />Whole. <br />Mr. Flynn, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to suspend the rules <br />of Council requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate <br />occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: Al1 <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mrs. Cinco, seconded by Mr. Basile, made a motion to enact Ordinance <br />No. 89-28. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Enacted <br />Mr. Ramos stated the name of the vendor and the amount of the bid to be <br />included in the resolution (as follows.) <br />First Reading of Resolution No. 89-45, entitled; "A RESOLUTION <br />ACCEPTING THE BID OF CLASSIC CHEVROLET, INC. TO BE THE LOWEST AND BEST <br />BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF TWO FLEETSIDE PICK-UP TRUCKS WITH TRADE-IN IN <br />AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED TWENTY-ONE THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED SEVENTY-EIGHT <br />DOLLARS ($21,478.00), AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND PRESIDENT OF COUNCIL TO <br />EXECUTE A PURCHASE AGREEMENT FOR SAID PICK-UP TRUCKS, REJECTING ALL <br />OTHER BIDS RECEIVED AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY." Introduced by Mayor <br />Carmen and Council as a Whole.
