iLoi 9 <br />Regular Council Meeting <br />8/21/89 <br />Page 3 <br />STANDING COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />Architectural Review Board - Mr. Amendola said the committee passed <br />plans for two decks and hot tubs, and an accessory building at their <br />last meeting. <br />Board of Appeals - Mr. Amendola said there was no requirement for a <br />meeting this month. <br />Cemetery - Mrs. Cinco said there was no report. <br />Citizen's Advisor_y Committee - Mr. Basile said the Committee met on <br />July 24. They discussed Aintree North, Progressive, tax abatement, and <br />various other items. (See 7/24/89 CAC minutes.) <br />Commission on ARinQ - Mrs. Mills said there was no report. <br />Fair Housing Committee - Mr. Petschauer was absent; no report was - <br />given. Mrs. Mills said that another meeting date has not been set. <br />Finance - Mr. Flynn said that the committee discussed'the following: <br />Resolution 89-51 and Resolution 89-52. They need more information <br />about Resolution No. 89-52 before they'll recommend passage. They <br />recommend approval of the following legislation: Ordinance No. 89-31, <br />Resolutions: 89-53, 89-54, 89-55--but they would like to see the <br />street striping specifications, 89-56, 89-57, and 89-58. Mr. Flynn <br />said they would also like to approve the expenditure of $2821.93 for <br />traffic tickets. They have a number of questions concerning Ordinance <br />No. 89-22. Bob Bright from Burgess and Niple will come in and give a <br />break down on his proposal. He said there are many questions to be <br />answered. The Committee also discussed the MCIC (Mayfield Community <br />Improvement Corporation) regarding Industrial Revenue Bond status. <br />Hillcrest Council of Councils - Mrs. Cinco said there was no report. <br />Historical Society - Mrs. Cinco said they participated in the Highland <br />Heights Home Days. They were in the Mayfield Village Days parade and <br />participated at Village Days. Over 100 people toured the historical <br />home. She said there was an overwhelmingly favorable response <br />regarding the progress on the home. Mrs. Cinco said that the heating <br />in the home has been completed and the plumbing will be done by the end <br />of the month. The topsoil has arrived for the landscaping to begin and <br />bids are out for painting. Their next fund-raising event will be the <br />turkey raffle which will be held in November. <br />M.A.R.C. - Mr. Rinker said there was no meeting. <br />Ordinance Review Committee - Mr. Basile said there was no meeting. <br />Planning and Zoning - Mr. Basile said that they had received a request <br />for an outside patio but this matter has to be taken up at the next <br />Caucus.
