w 6") <br />i± ?_ ?? <br />Regular Council Meeting <br />9/18/89 <br />Page 5 <br />Mr. Hovancsek said that it could be done. <br />Mr. Basile said he feels work should be done as soon as possible on the <br />entire area. <br />Ditchine - North Side of Highland (right-of-entry/agree.) - Mr. <br />Hovancsek said that there are 3 properties that require rights-of-entry <br />and easements. As soon as he receives the legal descriptions he will <br />try to get them as soon as possible. After the rights-of-entries and <br />easements are obtained he will notify Sunrise and they will begin work. <br />Fisher's Tavern - Mr. Ramos said he will contact Dr. Faulkner. <br />New Village Signs - Mr. Basile said Council received another quote for <br />signs which they felt was still too high. <br />Education re Ballot Issues - Mrs. Cinco said discussion was held at <br />Caucus about sending a letter to residents. She asked if it would be <br />done in time to notify residents of the September 25 meeting. <br />Mr. Basile said Mayor Carmen had said the letter would go to residents <br />prior to the November election but not before the September 25 meeting. <br />Mr. Rinker said he thought steps were going to be taken to send out a <br />notice about this meeting so residents would have an opportunity to <br />attend. <br />Mr. Ramos said his impression was that the purpose of the meeting was <br />for the Ordinance Review Committee and the Citizen's Advisory Committee <br />to discuss the strategy for explaining the issues to residents as far <br />as holding ward meetings etc. Mr. Ramos said he felt it was too early <br />to try to hold a Village-wide meeting. <br />Parkview Golf Course - Mr. Ramos said that Mayor Carmen met with Mr. <br />LaConte and that negotiations between Mayor Carmen and the prospective <br />buyer are still going on. <br />Mr. Rinker said he thought a representative of Council was to meet with <br />Mr. LaConte and Mayor Carmen. <br />Mr. Basile asked Mr. Ramos to set up a meeting with Mayor Carmen, Mr. <br />LaConte, Mr. Ramos, and Mr. Basile. <br />Recyling - Mrs. Cinco said the Recycling Committee would like to know <br />the consensus of Council regarding the implementation of a curbside <br />recycling program with Waste Management. <br />Al1 members of Council stated their agreement. <br />Mrs. Cinco asked that Mr. Ohle from Waste Management and the Recycling <br />Committee be invited to attend the next Caucus.
