I 7/? <br />?r ;? <br />Regular Council Meeting <br />10/16/89 <br />Page 2 <br />Mayor Carmen said they must erect a new fence at the proper height, <br />etc. and asked why we are letting it stay up. <br />Mr. Amendola said they might be able to pick up and move sections of <br />the fence. Everything else is in compliance. He said he is trying to <br />save them a move. He estimated it could be accomplished within a week. <br />Mayor Carmen asked Mr. Amendola to write them a letter giving them a <br />deadline to move the fence (within a week). If the fence is not moved <br />by that time it must be removed and rebuilt. <br />Architectural Review Board - Mr. Amendola reported that the Board <br />approved two single-family dwellings, two room additions, and one sign <br />at their October 12 meeting. <br />Board of Appeals - Mr. Amendola said there was no requirement for a <br />meeting. <br />Cemetery - Mrs. Cinco said the audit has been completed and the <br />auditors feel the treasurer should be bonded. This would create a <br />reduction in their treasury. <br />Citizen's Advisory Committee - Mr. Basile said the Committee has not <br />met. <br />Commission on Aging - Mrs. Mills said the Commission has planned two <br />bus trips for October in addition to their regular weekly activities. <br />Fair Housing Committee - Mr.. Petschauer said there was no report. <br />Finance Committee - Mr. Flynn said the Committee met this evening. <br />They recommend approval of the following: Ordinance 89-43 (he asked <br />Mr. Patrick to go over it briefly before passage), Resolutions: <br />89-68, 89-69, 89-70. Mr. Flynn said they discussed the municipal <br />complex study and projected funding and that they need input from Mayor <br />Carmen and other parties. They also discussed Resolution 89-52--they <br />would like to know more about what they did. Ordinance 89-31 was also <br />discussed. <br />Hillcrest Council of Councils - Mrs. Cinco said they received notice of <br />a meeting scheduled for October 26. <br />Historical Society - Mrs. Cinco said the historical house is fully <br />operational. The water and gas meters are in. Painting will be done <br />is two weeks. Interior work will begin tabout the first of November. <br />They are holding a Turkey Raffle on November 18. Tickets are 5/$1.00. <br />M.A.R.C. - Mr. Rinker said there was no meeting; no report. <br />Ordinance Review Committee - Mr. Basile said the committee has not met; <br />no report. <br />? <br /> <br />
