I 7/? ?r ;? Regular Council Meeting 10/16/89 Page 2 Mayor Carmen said they must erect a new fence at the proper height, etc. and asked why we are letting it stay up. Mr. Amendola said they might be able to pick up and move sections of the fence. Everything else is in compliance. He said he is trying to save them a move. He estimated it could be accomplished within a week. Mayor Carmen asked Mr. Amendola to write them a letter giving them a deadline to move the fence (within a week). If the fence is not moved by that time it must be removed and rebuilt. Architectural Review Board - Mr. Amendola reported that the Board approved two single-family dwellings, two room additions, and one sign at their October 12 meeting. Board of Appeals - Mr. Amendola said there was no requirement for a meeting. Cemetery - Mrs. Cinco said the audit has been completed and the auditors feel the treasurer should be bonded. This would create a reduction in their treasury. Citizen's Advisory Committee - Mr. Basile said the Committee has not met. Commission on Aging - Mrs. Mills said the Commission has planned two bus trips for October in addition to their regular weekly activities. Fair Housing Committee - Mr.. Petschauer said there was no report. Finance Committee - Mr. Flynn said the Committee met this evening. They recommend approval of the following: Ordinance 89-43 (he asked Mr. Patrick to go over it briefly before passage), Resolutions: 89-68, 89-69, 89-70. Mr. Flynn said they discussed the municipal complex study and projected funding and that they need input from Mayor Carmen and other parties. They also discussed Resolution 89-52--they would like to know more about what they did. Ordinance 89-31 was also discussed. Hillcrest Council of Councils - Mrs. Cinco said they received notice of a meeting scheduled for October 26. Historical Society - Mrs. Cinco said the historical house is fully operational. The water and gas meters are in. Painting will be done is two weeks. Interior work will begin tabout the first of November. They are holding a Turkey Raffle on November 18. Tickets are 5/$1.00. M.A.R.C. - Mr. Rinker said there was no meeting; no report. Ordinance Review Committee - Mr. Basile said the committee has not met; no report. ?
