i 17 91) <br />Regular Council Meeting <br />10/16/89 <br />Page 5 <br />Second Reading of Ordinance No. 89-42, entitled; "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING <br />SECTION 1181.03(c) OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, <br />OHIO, PERTAINING TO THE LOT AREA PER FAMILY IN A CLASS A-3 DISTRICT AND <br />REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES INCONSISTENT HEREWITH." Introduced by Mayor <br />Carmen and Council as a Whole. (First Reading 10/2/89) <br />Mr. Ramos stated that a Public Hearing must be scheduled before the <br />third reading of Resolution No. 89-42. <br />Second Reading of Resolution No. 89-52, entitled; A RESOLUTION <br />RATIFYING THE AUTHORIZED EXTRA EXPENDITURES IN THE PREVIOUSLY AWARDED <br />CONTRACT TO BURGESS & NIPLE LIMITED TO DEVELOP ALTERNATE SOLUTIONS FOR <br />AINTREE NORTH DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS AND TO OBTAIN FIELD DATA FOR THE <br />HAFFEY LITIGATION, AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF FINANCE TO PAY SUCH <br />AUTHORIZED EXTRA EXPENDITURES AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY." Introduced <br />by Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole. (First Reading 8/21/89.) <br />Mr. Patrick recommended that Resolution No. 89-52 be amended to show <br />the complete amount which is: $11,444.71. <br />Mr. Flynn, seconded by Mr. Rinker, made a motion to amend Resolution <br />No. 89-52 as requested by Mr. Patrick. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Resolution Amended <br />Mr. Ramos said that Resolution No. 89-52 must remain on second reading <br />next time since it was amended after it was given second reading. <br />Third Reading of Ordinance No. 89-31, entitled; "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING <br />SECTIONS 1(A)(2)(f) AND 1(a)(2)(g) OF ORDINANCE N0. 89-10 PERTAINING TO <br />WAGES, BENEFITS AND OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT FOR <br />EMPLOYEES OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO SO AS TO PROVIDE FOR COMPENSATION <br />FOR THE POLICE SECRETARY AND RADIO DISPATCHERS REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES <br />INCONSISTENT HEREWITH AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY." Introduced by <br />Members of Council. (First Reading 8/21/89, Second Reading 9/18/89.) <br />Mr. Flynn, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. <br />89-31. <br />Mayor Carmen said this matter was discussed earlier this year. Since <br />it is now mid-October he feels Council will set a dangerous precedent <br />by changing these salaries mid-term. <br />Roll Call: AYES: Mr. Basile, Mrs. Cinco, Mr. Flynn, Mrs. Mills, and <br />Mr. Rinker <br />.?.,? <br />NAYS: Mr. Santoro <br />ABSTAIN: Mr. Petschauer Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Enacted
