T <br />Regular Council Meeting <br />10/16/89 <br />Page 7 <br />Mayor Carmen said that Bob Bright from Burgess and Niple will have an <br />expert tell us the difference between districts and utilities at the <br />November Caucus. <br />Planning Consultant - Mr. Ramos said that if Council wishes to have a <br />Planning Consultant (for the north end of the Village) we will line <br />something up for Caucus. <br />Mr. Flynn said he thinks it is too late now after the article in the <br />newspaper. <br />Liquor Permit Transfer - There were no objections to the transfer. <br />Picker X-Ray -----said we have received instructions that they have <br />submitted a plan. It was approved for the west end of the parking lot. <br />Assoc. Est. has been shifting some cars. <br />Mayor Carmen said letters have gone out from the Law Director to Jeff <br />Freidman telling them we want to meet with them to resolve the <br />problems. He said that he has received calls that they want to work it <br />out and a meeting will be set up. <br />Mr. Flynn said that the fire lane signs were moved. <br />Mrs. Mills asked who would attend the meeting. <br />Mayor Carmen said that he and Mr. Ramos would attend the meeting. They <br />will discuss the requirements. If they are not willing to meet <br />the requirements of the code, they will have to request a variance and <br />must and go back to Planning and Zoning. <br />Wheezers - Mr. Ramos said a letter was sent telling them that if they <br />did not comply with the conditions of the easement they -would receive <br />no variance. <br />NORSD - Hilltop Service Area Study - This was already reported on. <br />Holes in S.O.M. Center Road - Mr. Hovancsek explained that the Water <br />Department did not propertly backfill the holes and did not notify the <br />Service Department to fix the holes. He said he has advised the Water <br />Department that they must inform the Village Police or Service <br />Department in the future whenever they leave any holes. Our contract <br />says we must repair them but they must advise us where they are <br />located so we can do so. <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 89-43, entitled; AN ORDINANCE <br />APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR CURRENT EXPENSES & EXPENDITURES OF MAYFIELD <br />VILLAGE, OHIO, FOR THE PERIOD FROM 01/01/89 AND ENDING 12/31/89, <br />REPEALING EXISTING ORDINANCE N0. 89-12 AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY." <br />Introduced by Mayor Carmen and the Entire Council.
