Regular Council Meeting 11/20/89 Page 12 First Reading of Ordinance No. 89-47, entitled; "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1333.01(a) OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, PERTAINING TO THE ADOPTION OF THE 1990 EDITION OF THE NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE SO AS TO INCORPORATE IN SAID SECTION ALL AMENDMENTS TO THE NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE, REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES INCONSISTENT HEREWITH, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY." Introduced by Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole. Mr. Basile, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. Roll Call: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Rules Suspended Mrs. Cinco, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a motion to enact ordinance No. 89-47. Roll Call: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Ordinance Enacted First Reading of Ordinance No. 89-48, entitled; "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 105.03(C) OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, PERTAINING TO THE COST OF PROVIDING REPORTS OF REAL PROPERTY AND SPECIAL ASSESSMENT TAXES, REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES INCONSISTENT HEREWITH, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY." Introduced by Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole. Mr. Ramos said that Council could place on first reading or suspend the rules. He said this legislation will allow the Finance Department to collect $7.50 for real property and special assessment tax reports. Mr. Flynn, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions.
