, <br />Regular Council Meeting <br />12/18/89 <br />Page 8 <br />Mr. Amendola explained that the final inspection covers only safety <br />features. We do not get concerned with lighting, colors, etc. He said <br />that three other people had hired this builder and were quite pleased <br />with his work. The list was narrowed to one or two items and he thinks <br />there should not be anymore problems. <br />Six-day Work Week for Service Dept. - Winter Months - Mr. Amendola said <br />the Service Department has repair work to do when they are not snow <br />plowing. He would like them to work a six-day week during the winter. <br />Mr. Ramos said that no action from Council is required; it is up to the <br />Mayor. <br />Aintree North Sublots 80 through 86 - Mr. Hovancsek said that he tias <br />sent a letter to Enzo Construction telling him to protect the stakes. <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 89-19, entitled; "AN ORDINANCE ENACTING <br />CHAPTER 1389 OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE ENTITLED <br />"REGULATED i3SE5." Introduced by Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole. <br />Mr. Ramos explained that this legislation was drafted similar to <br />legislation in Willoughby or Willoughby Hills. A lot of discussion had <br />appeared in newspapers earlier this year regarding pornographic shops <br />going into commercial areas. He explained that Council usually acts on <br />pending legislation at the end of each year. <br />Mr. Flynn requested that this ordinance be referred to the Ordinance <br />Review Committee. <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 89-41, entitled; "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING <br />SECTIONS 373.01, 373.02, 373.04(a) AND 373.07 OF THE CODIFIED <br />ORDINANCES OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, PERTAINING TO THE DESIGNATION AND <br />OPERATION OF BICYCLE TRAILS AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY." Introduced by <br />Mayor Carmen and the Entire Council. <br />Mr. Ramos explained that this legislation is a housekeeping ordinance <br />to amend the sections of the code to include trails (a change from <br />"paths".) <br />Mrs. Cinco, seconded by Mr. Basile, made a motion to suspend the rules <br />of Council requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate <br />occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Basile, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to enact Ordinance <br />No. 89-41. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Enacted
