6--,1 .1L C'..? <br />Regular Council Meeting <br />12/18/89 <br />Page 7 <br />Sprinkling Requirements for Businesses - Mr. Ramos said he hupes to <br />include the requirements into the building code. <br />Chief Mohr said it is in the building code; he wanted them to think <br />about putting it into the zoning requirements. <br />Bikeway - Split Rail or Chain Link Fence - Discussion was held <br />regarding fencing for the bikeway area on S.O.M. by the ravine. Mr. <br />Hovancsek said that another alternative would be a 3-rail fence. It <br />would aesthetically look better. The fence is partly in front of Dr. <br />Stabile's house. Mr. Hovancsek recommended that Dr. Stabile be <br />contacted to discuss the fencing alternatives. <br />Mrs. Mills said she thinks part of the property belongs to Hejcl's <br />also. <br />State Yard Salt Shed - Mr. Ramos said he should have a report by next <br />week. <br /> Picker Fire Alarm System - Chief Mohr said their Vice President sent us <br /> a letter stating that they will be placing the bid for the fire alarm <br /> system at their 600 Beta facility. That is satisfactory to him. <br /> Mr. Flynn said that regarding Associated Estates, Mr. Amendola had a <br /> meeting with Mr. Friedman about ten days ago. Mr. Amendola said that <br /> he gave us a copy of the drawings that showed what had taken place <br /> since 1973. He said he is reviewing them and that he, Chief Mohr, Lt. <br /> Jay, and Bob Schulte looked at the drawings 'and found all types of <br /> errors. They are going to continue to review them. He will let Mayor <br /> Carmen and Gouncil see the plans and then give them to Mr. Ramos to <br /> finalize something. Mr. Amendola said that there is space in the <br /> parking lot now only because he has obtained space elsewhere. He will <br /> keep Council aware of everything that takes place and requests that <br /> this item remain on the agenda. <br /> Regarding the Bikeway fence, Mr. Rinker said that he feels Council <br /> should send a letter to Dr. Stabile. <br />Mr. Hovancsek suggested that a meeting be held on the site with Dr. <br />Stabile and the Hejcls. <br />Council asked Miss Heath to send the letters. <br />Sidewalk at 6687 Wildwood Trail - Mr. Hovancsek explained how the <br />problem occurred. He said that he met with Mr. and Mrs. Cirino and Pat <br />Caticchio in August. At the request of the Citizen's Advisory <br />Committee, he wrote to Mr. Caticchio to try to pin down something <br />definite. He Caticchio said he will take the responsiUility of <br />placement of the sidewalk and asked that Mr. Cirino obtain two bids. <br />Punch List for_793 Hanover Road - Mr. Flynn said that he asked that <br />Council receive a copy of the punch list but since that time Mr. <br />Amendola has talked to the owner.
