10 <br /> <br />Regular Council Meering <br />1/20/92 <br />Page 6 <br />Lt. Jay said the SPAN communities are on the same radio frequency; in order for all of us <br />to avail ourselves to the frequency, we need a central location. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Enacted <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 92-03, entitled; "An ordinance repealing Ordinance No. <br />91-49, and declaring an emergency." Introduced by Mayor Pietrafese and Council as a <br />Whole. <br />Mr. Flynn, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council <br />requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES : All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Ferrante, seconded by Mr. Busa, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 92-03. <br />Mr. Diemert said this ordinance will repeal Ordinance No. 91-49 which put 91-35 onto <br />the ballot for the voters to consider whether the golf course should be taken by eminent <br />domain. He explained there was a referendum on the ballot; those petitioners have <br />voluntarily withdrawn their perition and have thereby requested that it be taken off the <br />ballot. <br />Mr. Rinker read the petition. He explained that by passing this ordinance they will be <br />postponing it; not removing it altogether. <br />Mayor Pietrafese thanked the LaContes for their dedication and support in not going further <br />with this. He thinks the negotiations will finally come to rewards for both of us. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Passed <br />First Reading of Resolution No. 92-01, entitled; "A resolution re-establishing terms, <br />conditions and compensation for the services of the Director of Law and declaring an <br />emergency." Introduced by Mayor Pietrafese and the Entire Council. <br />Mr. Ferrante, seconded by Mr. Fixler, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council <br />requiring a resolurion to be read on three occasions. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Ferrante, seconded by Mr. Busa, made a motion to adopt Resolution No. 92-01. <br />Mr. Diemert said we need a morion to amend the resolurion.
