20 <br />Regular Council Meering <br />2/17/92 <br />Page Four <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Canied <br />Minutes Approved <br />CONIlVIENTS FROM MAYOR PIETRAFE E <br />Mayor Pietrafese had no comment at this time. <br />COMMENTS FROM COUNCIL PRESIDENT RINKER <br />Mr. Rinker had no comment at this rime. <br />DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS <br />Mr, Diemert reported that the promotion and benefit account has been authorized by the <br />County audit group. The Finance Committee will make a recommendation at a later tune. <br />Mr. Diemert said he has received a signed agreement from the owners of Fisher's Tavern. <br />They have agreed in writing not to open up in the front area and plan to cooperate with the <br />Village to relocate their patio on the side yard and with signs. Mr. Diemert said it appears definite the Busa matter should be dismissed in the next two <br />weeks to 30 days. <br />Mr. Diemert said the Professional Lawn Care case was dismissed by Judge White on <br />February 14 at no cost to Mayfield Village. <br />STANDING CONIMITTEE REPORTS <br />Architectural Review Board - Mr. Amendola reported the Board approved a swimming <br />pool, rejected a sign, and recommended that the Building Commissioner hold discussions <br />with the Linkas at Fisher's Tavern about the deck on the north side. Mr. Amendola said he <br />met with Mr. and Mrs. Linkas and their son. They have agreed that the designer of the <br />deck would meet with the Building Commissioner before submitting the drawings. <br />Mr. Diemert said they have to obtain all proper approvals. <br />Board of AMeals - Mr. Amendola said the Board met with attorneys Sheldon Berne and <br />Pat Caticchio and the landscape architect for the developer of Hanover Woods Sublot 36 <br />Hardwood Court. The main topic of discussion was if the lot was a buildable lot if a 20' <br />variance on the rear yard setback was granted. The final decision was in favor of granting <br />the variance with the contingency that placement of the home be in accordance with that <br />shown on the architects exhibit marked #2. <br />Cemeterv - Mr. Flynn said there was no report. <br />Citizen's Advisorv - Mr. Fixler said there was no report; there will be a meeting next <br />Monday.
